#61 Why You NEED to Start Building Your Personal Brand

Personal branding is NOT an option - it's a NECESSITY in 2019 and in this week's solo episode of Beyond Influential, I'm going to tell you why (and how to do it the right way!). #60 Kristin Prosser on Money Tips, Money Mistakes & Money Mindset for Entrepreneurs

If you are an entrepreneur (or want to be one), this interview is a MUST listen!  As a society, we need to be having more open conversations around money, money mindset, and finance. I am going to be sharing more around my money journey, but I also want you to hear from experts in the space who live and breathe numbers for entrepreneurs, side hustlers, influencers, and small businesses. A very common entrepreneurial issue (and I’ve been guilty of this too!) is leaning into the parts of my business you enjoy and where you are strongest and neglecting (or avoiding!) the less sexy parts.  The reality is that you really need to at least have a basic understanding of how all of the areas of your business run (You can and should be delegating:).) For this week’s interview, I sat down with Kristin Prosser, the CEO & founder of The Accounting Collective (and my bookkeeper), to talk about all of the basics you need to be thinking about with your business finances. This conversation really does apply to everyone, especially if you have any interest in working for yourself in ANY income generating capacity.  We also cover the most common finance mistakes entrepreneurs make, how much you should charge for your services (& when to raise prices), money mindset, and more! *FREEBIE: If you’re interested in learning more about the foundational aspects of your business that are completely necessary as an entrepreneur, I have a free new business checklist for you that you can grab at brittanykrystle.com/bizchecklist. There’s a lot more to having business than having a skill that people will pay for and I want you to be as prepared as possible.   To connect with Kristin: Website Instagram LinkedIn To connect with me: Free LinkedIn Training Instagram Twitter LinkedIn Website Facebook Sign up here if you want to receive the latest news on growing you industry influence! #beyondinfluentialpodcast

#58 Part 1 - Mikhail Alfon on What It Really Takes to Start, Build, & Run a Digital Agency in 2019

We are now firmly into 2019 and I am really excited about the interview you're about to hear because it's very timely, but evergreen at the same time. Not only that, but it really sets the tone for the direction I am taking the Beyond Influential Podcast this year: honest, open, and valuable. My guest this week is Mikhail Alfon. Mikhail is not only my friend and frequent collaborator, but he is the co-founder and President of Blue Light Media, a digital agency in Orange County that works with businesses of all sizes from small to Fortune 500.  I've literally been watching Mikhail build his business day by day, brick by brick, in this digital space. Not only could I not be more proud of him and his successes so far, he is a prime example of the blood, sweat, and tears it really takes to build a digital agency from the ground up.    I broke this into a Part 1 and Part 2 because we had such a relevant and free flowing conversation that it didn't feel right to cut any of it out.   In Part 1, we talk podcasting, mindset, personal branding, niching down, Mikhail's story (which is pretty insane!), poker, entrepreneurship, client relations and more! #56 Using Videographers to Grow Your Personal Brand & Business with Mason Tompkins

One of the most common questions I get when it comes to building a personal brand is if it is necessary to hire a videographer specifically for social media and personal brand content. The next question after that is almost always, "How do I find one?"   I have experience now on both sides of the aisle. I worked closely with videographers at VaynerMedia on Team Garyvee, on VaynerTalent, and with my solo personal brand clients. I have now also worked closely with videographers for my own personal brand.    That brings me to this week's interview is with Mason Tompkins, who is a videographer, editor, photographer, and creator. Mason works with corporate and personal brands to create content and he's currently working with the brand, K-Swiss.   Not only that, but Mason is someone who has actually worked with me through a few different iterations of my business (and he might be the only one who's done this). We worked together on VaynerTalent, when I was still at Vaynermedia, and we've worked together on other clients since then. Mason has also been helping me with some of my own projects for my own brand, and it's been exciting to have him along for that ride.    This interview was a great honest conversation that gives you a peek at what it's like behind the scenes as a videographer in this personal brand space.   On this episode, we cover: Do you need a videographer for your personal brand? Finding & hiring a videographer Videographer pricing Creating the best type of content for your brand The difference working with personal brands vs. brands & more!   To connect with Mason:   Website   Instagram To connect with me: Free LinkedIn Training Instagram Twitter LinkedIn Website Facebook Sign up here if you want to receive the latest news on growing you industry influence! #beyondinfluentialpodcast

#55 The LinkedIn Laws & What's Been Going On With Me - Brittany Krystle & Mikhail Alfon

You might have noticed that I have been posting as regularly recently - this week's Beyond Influential Podcast episode covers why. This week's podcast is actually from an interview I did with Mikhail Alfon on his podcast, The Podcast (meta). Mikhail is also a good friend of mine and called me out for being offline for a while, so we had an honest conversation about it for the podcast! We talk all about the LinkedIn Laws (course launch & course creation is no joke!) and get you up to speed on where I've been and what I've been doing!  To listen to our last Episode together: click here  To connect with Mikhail: Website Instagram The Podcast LinkedIn Blue Light Media   To connect with me: Free LinkedIn Training Instagram Twitter LinkedIn Website Facebook Sign up here if you want to receive the latest news on growing you industry influence! #beyondinfluentialpodcast

#52 7-Figure Business Facebook Ads Strategy & Creating System Envy with Kerry Swetmon

Facebook Ads are the secret sauce behind many online businesses, so I wanted to speak to someone who multiple 7+ figure earners know and trust with their strategy. My guest this week is Kerry Swetmon, the owner of System Envy, a boutique ads management agency for select 7 figure business owners.
