This week we finish talking about what particles create an environment of grace, and specifically one that is often overlooked: fun. Sometimes we can get the feeling that if we're having fun it means we don't take our faith seriously enough, but we see many examples in scripture of Jesus enjoying and having fun with his friends. Attempting to create environments of grace comes with a tricky predicament. The longer we live, the more we realize that we are a mess, and the more tempted we are to be embarrassed by it. So what do we really mean by the thought, grace is messy? Well we mean it is as real, frustrating, maddening, full of suffering. And, that it is still worlds better.
