The movie's critical success has been impressive, and both of its main actors (Jonathan Pryce and Anthony Hopkins) have received Oscar nominations. But underneath the acting performances lies a movie that Mr. Waters calls "misguided and dangerous" because of its completely inaccurate portrayal of the subject matter at hand.
