Episode 44: The Value of Soft Skills
This week I'm talking about the importance of soft skills! Continuing from my discussion of Daniel Pink's A Whole New Mind, I talk about how those predictions made by Pink have come true in today's modern work environment. The days of pure left-brained skill are disappearing, giving way for the right brain. I'll talk about how you can develop those right brained skills, so you can have the keys to success in our modern world. For more resources and show notes go to www.drmelissasmith.com/episode-44

Episode 42: You Are Meant To Lead
What comes to mind when you think of leaders? Maybe particular people or specific titles individuals hold come to mind. But I've discovered that you can't always determine a great leader by the title after their name, the size of their office (or whether they even have an office), or how many people answer to them. You're just as likely to find great leaders on the shop floor as you are in the corner suite. The best leaders find the potential in processes and others, and are willing to step up to develop that potential. I hope after today's podcast you realize that YOU are meant to lead.
