This episode of Well Played was recorded before a shooting in New York City on Monday in which the NFL headquarters may have been the target. Police say a gunman armed with a long gun killed at least five people in a Manhattan office building, including himself. While a motive has not been confirmed, authorities say a note found in the shooter’s wallet referenced the brain disease CTE. We want to note that week’s episode includes conversations about football and the NFL that were recorded prior to news of the shooting.
