A “stagnant Christian” should be an oxymoron. God's plan for His children is that they be edified, constantly moving forward in faith. But the Christian can't become spiritually mature alone... Edification Is Jesus’ Blueprint.Ephesians 4:11–12 Isaiah 28:16Therefore thus says the Lord God:“Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation,A tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation;Whoever believes will never be shaken.” Parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles—it’s up to you to make sure these children are prepared for spiritual battle. Be proactively teaching your kids Biblical truth or they will be led astray. When Jesus is the cornerstone, and when His people are equipped and built up in truth, the church stands strong. Romans 14:19 (ESV)So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding. Let us pursue. 2. Edification Produces Maturity.Ephesians 4:13–14 (NKJV) Edification gives us:- discernment- stability- resilience Longevity doesn’t equal maturity. Jesus loved them enough to tell them the truth and call them to repentance. True love doesn’t enable sin; it confronts it. 3. When we give someone a birthday gift, we don’t ask them to give it back when they disappoint us. Well, God doesn’t revoke the gift of eternal life when we do something that displeases Him. Our salvation was purchased at Calvary . . . and that purchase was final. Charlie Kirk was a remarkable young man whose life left a lasting imprint on our nation—and on the world.  He began TPUSA at just the age of 18 and made a difference on many college campuses. He talked with students, gave speeches, and powerfully communicated through logic, clarity, courage, and peace. He was a patriot and American who loved his country. But first and foremost, Charlie Kirk was a Christian, devoted husband, and loving father. He was a bold voice for Jesus Christ. As painfully shocking as his loss is, we can take comfort in knowing that Charlie is now in Heaven. The moment he took his last breath here on earth, he took his first breath in the presence of the Lord. That is the hope we hold on to as believers—eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ.  In their most unimaginable time, please join me in praying for Charlie’s wife, Erika, and their two young children who won’t understand why their dad isn’t coming home.
