Getting a Song on NBA 2k, Starting a Family & The Power of Discipline - Colin Henry
Today's episode we sit down with Rapper Colin Henry. Colin is a New Jersey artist & rapper. With 4 albums already under his belt, over 1.7 million streams and 40k monthly spotify listeners, Colin is no beginner when it comes to music. His latest Album Dark Times and White lines released in 2022. He has a new Single out now called Juranimo. I am excited to chat with Colin about his beginnings, how he found music, what and who inspires him, his process, the Music business, & the path to pursue music in todays world. Colin and I have a close background, I spent a few months in 2022 documenting the making of his latest album, so I got to see first hand what it was like to prep for an album, the process of recording one, mixing and mastering. But what impressed me the most was his work ethic and vibe he wanted to maintain the entire process of making the album. Hope you enjoy this episode

025 - Zac Stracener | Writer & Director
Today we are joined by Writer, Director and Producer Zac Stracener. I came across Zac’s work after watching his latest short film “Forever Sleep,” which he was nominated for the 2023 Young Director Award at the Cannes Lions Festival Normally, this podcast is based around conversations with filmmakers about their life, journey and other topics, this is the first time I am joined by a guest to talk about a specific project. Prior to diving into our conversation, I want to just share the log-line of this film for you all to have a better understanding of what it's about. Then at the end I encourage you all to go and watch the film for yourself. It without a doubt left me feeling emotional, and wanting to watch again to dig deeper into the story.
The Story of “Forever Sleep.” Witness a man's desperate quest for solace in the depths of his memories. After enduring the unbearable loss of his wife and newborn, Cole Powell voluntarily undergoes an experiment to end it all — Forever Sleep™️. But what he encounters within the recesses of his mind is an unexpected revelation, challenging him to confront the haunting question: Is life truly worth living, even after enduring unimaginable pain? This visually stunning short explores the resilience of the human spirit, reminding us that amidst the darkness, there is always a reason to choose life.
