Martin Ploom, founder of Smartcredit.io, is one of the smartest & strongly opinionated men I’ve ever really spoken to. He was adamant on detailing the history of credit, money, lending and borrowing, gold standard, fiat and how we got to the fractional reserve system we have today. Cover Protocol has had a helluva ride the last few months…with an epic launch and collaboration with Yearn to a major smart contract hack & drain. I mean. This has been insane. Amidst a sea of new DeFi projects which have launched in the last 3 months, there have been a few notable standouts. We definitely think Alpha Finance fits that category as its launched a game changing product: Leveraged yield farming. (Like we weren’t already taking enough risks…lol) Seriously though, $ALPHA token has seen a 10x price appreciation since our explainer video 2 months ago. TVL in the protocol has rose to $82m in that time as well. DeFi TVL just crossed $15B TVL and is now above $17B. Seventeen billion dollars. And if the trend is any indicator of what’s to come $100B TVL is simply just a matter of time.
