MY 50TH INTERVIEW Douglas Gillette is the co-author of “King, Warrior, Magician, Lover”, an immortal classic of the men’s movement. He’s also a husband, father, college professor, Jungian analyst, and poet. I hear his book mentioned weekly because it helps men see their inherent goodness and nobility, in an era dedicated to shaming men for often exaggerated crimes of wickedness. The mode of thinking it inspired also showed me that I could take core aspects of me and round them out in the hopes of someday becoming a King. Jon Rennie is a former US Navy submarine officer, as well as a business leader, podcast host, and author. Pastor Doug Wilson is a husband, father, grandfather, author, Youtube star and the leader of the Christ Kirk Christian community in Moscow, Idaho. CB Robertson is an author, husband, father, and autodidactic philosopher. If you don't immediately recognize his name, you might recognize his Instagram handle: Caffeine and Philosophy. If I'm one type of man, who allows life to interrupt his philosophical pursuits, CB is the other type of man for whom philosophy IS life, or at least a big part of it.
