Episode 2 of my three-part series, Live At ReformCon 2022 Jeremiah Roberts and Andrew Soncrant are the hosts of the hit international podcast Cultish. The show explores what they call "The Kingdom of the Cults", or the broad array of religions and practices around the world that mimic the behavior of a cult. This past week, I hosted a podcast booth at ReformCon in Mesa, Arizona, a two-day conference put on by Apologia Church about reclaiming culture for Christ. The point of the conference is that it's not enough to be adept theologically. We must apply that theological rigor to the culture and institutions that surround us. William Butler (WB) Yeats (1865-1939) is an acclaimed Irish poet and the winner of the 1923 Nobel Prize for Literature. He said, "The mystical life is the centre of all that I do and all that I think and all that I write." That statement takes shape in this, one of the last poems in his life. In this episode, I explore Yeats complicated and checkered past, and show the kind of fruit borne in the lives of those who practice mystical and occult arts. Ryan King, known better on Instagram as TheWisdomOfKings is a husband, father, entrepreneur, content creator, and friend. 2-YEAR ANNIVERSARY EPISODE Rob, Katie, Barb, and Andrea might be names you don’t immediately recognize. But if you listen to this podcast, the contribution they made to my life should be familiar: they introduced me to Christ at Burning Man, and baptized me 5 years later, almost to the day. They ran a ministry at that New Age, pagan, hedonistic festival, for over a decade, reaching out to some of the most lost and rebellious seekers. But even those men and women were in need of a Father’s blessing. They just didn’t know it. Paul Robson is the Co-Founder and Leader of the European men’s work organization Maniphesto, which hosts a podcast, men’s coaching, and men’s events.
