MY 50TH INTERVIEW Douglas Gillette is the co-author of “King, Warrior, Magician, Lover”, an immortal classic of the men’s movement. He’s also a husband, father, college professor, Jungian analyst, and poet. I hear his book mentioned weekly because it helps men see their inherent goodness and nobility, in an era dedicated to shaming men for often exaggerated crimes of wickedness. The mode of thinking it inspired also showed me that I could take core aspects of me and round them out in the hopes of someday becoming a King.
