CONSISTENT by Primal Potential
Elizabeth Benton
Why are we so stressed & overwhelmed? Why do we have clear & compelling goals but fail to reach them? How can we want to change so desperately yet make choices that keep us from that change? Because we keep focusing on the habits we want instead of building the skill of consistency that allows us to achieve them. Consistency is a skill. It's a superpower. It isn't one-size-fits all. It unlocks any door and makes every goal achievable. A more effective, realistic approach starts here.

682: Not Satisfied After Eating?
Have you ever felt like you want to keep eating even when you know you've given your body enough fuel? This is an interesting question from a listener that we're covering in this Saturday's episode! Here are the questions we're tackling in today's episode: I am at the point where I want to make some career changes. I am currently studying to get my real estate license and I will be working with a great team once I am licensed. The company that I currently work for is not supportive of anything I do outside lab hours (in terms of part-time work) and they are not flexible to allow me to spend time on real estate. My goal is to be self-employed, although I feel the transition is not going to be easy with my current job. Are you still involved with real estate? I would like to hear more about your story of how you started your own businesses and transitioned to being self-employed. I miss your "workouts I love" at the end of your episodes! My question is, what kinds of workouts can we do where we have some flexibility to chat? How did you find your mentor? Do you only coach people on weight loss and is the 12 Weeks to Transformation only about weight loss? At 55 and no career to speak of (long story), can I still make something of myself or find my purpose? Often times after I eat I just don't feel satisfied. I know that I have fueled my body in a good way because I feel energized and not hungry but I just don't feel satisfied (if that makes any sense) and I desire other foods that cause me to stray from my plan. Any thoughts? Make sure to tune in through the end of the episode for the announcement of today's winner of a bottle of digestive enzymes. 679: Creating Energy During Periods of Mental Exhaustion
Have you ever felt mentally exhausted? One of our listeners wrote in for today's listener Q&A episode wondering how to find energy on those mentally exhausted days. We're also diving into questions including: Where did I lose my self worth?! How do I sort out my life? I have experimented with fasting and IF for quite some time and find abstinence easier than moderation. I find a lifestyle of only eating once a day quite sustainable but am not losing fat. I was wondering, does the golden rules of carbs mean that, if I break my fast at dinner that I should treat it as a fat loss breakfast i.e. little to no carbs after the long fast? How do I deal with the "blah" days when that's all I seem to be having lately? How to get motivated after repeated failure? If you want to learn more about the free 7 day challenge we have going on, drop your name and email address in here. Today's episode is brought to you by Fabletics! 673: Are There Some Things We Just Need to Accept?
Can we change everything about ourselves or are there some things we just need to accept? This is one of many topics we're diving into today on this Q&A episode of the podcast! I know that if you think you're an emotional eater that is what you'll live like. But: what if that's what you really are? And what about being stubborn? Is that a characteristic that is really you or what? Can you really change everything you want or is it that sometimes you need to just accept that that is who you are? How do I push myself to get to my goal? Are values and standards the same thing? My knees hurt, I'm 80 lbs over weight, but my doctor told me I should exercise. I'm working 2 jobs and am in graduate school full time, I'm barely getting my 7 hours of sleep a it is. What can I do? I was wondering if you had any suggestions for adult acne? Can it be cured through one's diet? Today we're giving away a bottle of Mood+!
