When your authentic self is something that is deemed unacceptable to even your closest family it becomes critical to own your truth. Britt talks about the well build walls he constructed to shelter himself from the hate of the outside world. Finally, through the help of a 12-step program Britt discovered that those walls were his alone to dismantle and that he must take action in doing so if he wanted to step into his full potential.
