Actors David and Jessica Oyelowo joined us on this week's HTB at Home to talk about their Christian lives and their work in Hollywood. They shared their experience of HTB’s Pre-Marriage Course with Nicky and Sila Lee in the run-up to their marriage and went on to describe how the recent killing of George Floyd had galvanized their work in the cause of racial justice seen most prominently in their performances in Selma and A United Kingdom.

Today, Fernando Carrillo looks at Romans 4 and encourages us that something beautiful happens when we put our faith in what Jesus did for us on the cross.

Today, Emily Layzell shares a message from Romans 3:22 and how sometimes we might fall into times of trying to earn God’s love and forgiveness. However, through this passage we can take assurance that God’s love is for everyone, you can’t earn it. God’s love is given, you just have to receive it.

Today, Stephen Foster looks at Proverbs 17:9, ‘Whoever would foster love covers over an offence.' How do you act when a friend causes you offence? We are encouraged to look to the cross, to know that Jesus’ forgiveness, won for us on the cross, means that we can receive forgiveness, freedom and peace, and foster love in our hearts.
