#66 - Never, ever give up. The Toughest Woman Alive Leah Goldstein

I talk to someone who has been called the "Toughest Woman Alive". Get this, as a teenager, she got obsessed with kickboxing and became a world champion. Leah then spent 9 years in the Israeli commandos and secret police - becoming a Krav Maga Instructor for their Elite Commandos. And then upon retiring, she got into cycling… and in 2005 after winning 9 of her first 11 races, she was involved in a horrific crash that left her hospitalized for two and a half months and she was told she would never walk without a cane… let alone get back on a bike… But if that wasn't enough, Leah recovered and started competing in the Race Across America (RAAM)... eventually winning the race having ridden 3000 miles, climbed 175,000 feet, crossed 12 states with a time of 11 days, three hours and three minutes… Now, if that's not someone who can teach us a never-give-up attitude, I don't know who can. Connect with Leah Goldstein on Instagram @goldstein_leah_ or at leahgoldstein.com.
