Of course you could easily argue he is just competitive, a driven dealmaker who always wins and really does want the best for Americans. And yet. AI is not something that is developed or dispensed by politicians or bureaucrats, but by technocrats who also want to win – and bring the world under the spell and bondage of artificial intel. Mary welcomes back Linda Harvey of Mission America to talk about the upcoming school year, and the propaganda calendar that is put into place from the moment they walk in the doors, to the last day in June during “Pride Month”. We take a look at all the woke and brainwashing events that kids are subject to, none of which have anything to do with the concept of education. Wouldn’t it be great to have, say, something like “Holocaust Remembrance Day” to key in on actual injustice, historically factual and worthy of study? Or is it better to teach on perversion and shame those kids who don’t want to partake? Is it possible for our kids to be change agents, or is opting out the best choice? We also look at some rulings that might allow a lot of these weekly LGBTQ events to go away quietly. Teaching kids to make it in the real world with academics would be quite the concept in schools today. Originally coined in the 1990’s, the Information Superhighway was a term used to describe digital communication systems that is mostly associated with then Senator and future Vice President Al Gore. The basic idea was to be able to provide access to information to all, no matter what the level of income was. With the explosion of the World Wide Web, essentially, the Internet became the information superhighway. Other resources describe the concept as “…directly connects millions of people, each both a consumer of information and a potential provider…” or “a route or network for the high-speed transfer of information…” or “something that will link every home or office to everything else – movies and television shows, shopping services…” And it changed the world. No one saw it coming, any more than people alive in 1890 anticipated the US Freeway system. With that in mind, today’s news cycle gets some context as we talk about all the headlines fit for a Wednesday! We start off with trending news, including the historical 8.8 quake in far eastern Russia. Is it one of the biggest in history as is being claimed? Then we talk about the Trump EU tariff deal and what it means for geopolitics. Tim takes on hurricanes and the frequency of those over the last couple years, and it’s probably for a reason you did not expect. We look at an immigration warning for America based on the July deal signed between Starmer and Macron. Finally, AI is spiritual. Sci-Fi has told us it is forever in the future, but truly, it’s here –  and we still think it’s in the future. A fertile ground for massive deception. Dr. JB Hixson Stand Up welcomes back JB Hixson to talk about faith and the free exercise thereof. What begins as that which saves us opens a door to a brand new life as a new creation. As we begin this life, what is important? Faith comes by hearing so that systematic study of the Scriptures must undergird all we do as our hearts and minds are transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit, the same power that rose our Saviour from the grave. Walking by faith then is the workout of our lives! What does that look like? Of course, God has a different path for each of us and no one can walk that walk for us. But God’s word applies to ALL of us! What a glorious operating manual for all things pertaining to life and godliness. All means all here, we can assume that. So as we move forward, what are some of the things that might challenge our faith, make it like gold tried in the furnace? When things don’t make sense, when our prayers seem to bounce off the ceiling, when people hurt us or betray us or when tragedy strikes, what is our response? Does the response change from year to year as we move forward in Christ? Growing beyond our circumstances prepares us for eternity. Life is hard and full of challenges but faith, along with hope and love, remain. Brian is an internationally known speaker and author, was a teacher and principal for ten years before becoming director of Creation Instruction Association and has a creation museum in Broken Bow, Nebraska. He has been doing high energy talks on the topic of creation and Biblical authority for over 25 years, doing debates at Universities, going into prisons, and sharing at churches, schools and camps around the world to kids and adults alike. He uses scientific demonstrations and high-energy talks filled with Scripture and science, all to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to lift up Biblical authority in every aspect of life. John Haller is back to bring us headlines from any and every corner and byway of the “information superhighway”. Remember when the internet was called that? A highway of information, bumper to bumper and filled with potholes? Well, they had that right. And it’s very hard to find an exit ramp if you are on it, because it gets weirder by the day. Today we talk about a treasonous conspiracy that frankly, most Americans will not have any trouble believing – the Clinton/Obama/DOJ/Biden mafia circle of influence on American politics circa 2016. We all know that something went really wrong and still, few of us think anything will come of it. We also talk about AI and the dangers, which change daily – and affect every person in the Western world at least. For now. Soon enough it will engulf the globe via technocracy. Then there’s Turkey and it’s love fest with Qatar. Back in 2023, following the Hamas brutality against Israel, Qatar was hosting some negotiations, something that should have sent up multiple red flags. Just whom is in bed with whom over there? Did you ever wake up in the morning with rampant negativity sucking the life out of you? The flesh just doesn’t want to face the same troubles and anxieties you went to bed with. This is not only common, but it is also a sure way for the enemy of hope to get us defeated before we even put one foot on the floor. Recognizing the pattern is the start of traveling more hopefully, taking those thoughts captive. Today we look at some of the ways to be more hopeful, be less gullible, and all in all have a more positive outlook that stems from unshakeable faith in the Lord, for everything big and small. If the enemy’s greatest tool is deception, our most potent weapon is truth and lots of it. I always figure, if we are not depressed from time to time, we aren’t paying close enough attention. But that needn’t be our way of life. Head into the wind, against the current – that would be us, and we get weary. Sometimes we get anxious, and it can be debilitating. How can we get that out of our lives? Is it possible? Oh yes.  Talking hope in the midst of whatever, we all need that. Humans bring many biases, indoctrinations and emotions to so many issues of the day, and seem content to take most things at face value instead of thinking things through in context. Words have meaning, and even before we speak, our thoughts have already given birth to a multitude of possible words – and actions. No believer can ever hope to be an effective apologist without understanding the importance of thinking things through – with the goal of giving an answer to all who ask about our hope. Social media, in fact, is probably the main contributor to the destruction of meaningful discourse in the public square. We talk about how critical thinking is indispensable in our lives at any age. Juan is the senior pastor of a Spanish-speaking congregation in Florida and has worked at a Christian school as both a chaplain and a teacher for more than 20 years. His educational background includes graduate work at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and master’s degrees from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and Logos Graduate School. He has a Doctor of Ministry in Apologetics from Southern Evangelical Seminary.
