Anne M. Stiles Ph.D. is an Associate Professor at the University of Saint Louis in the English Department. She teaches students about the parts of literature that are filled with monsters, vampires and mad scientists. She has teaches undergrads and medical students in hopes that they develop a love of literature and the ability to articulate their arguments. Vance and Anne sat down to talk about Christian Science's impact on children's literature and then discussed Dracula, Jekyll and Hyde, and even the secret garden.
