17-year-old Daniel LaPlante had a history of breaking into homes in his hometown of Townsend, Massachusetts. He was charged with breaking into and terrorizing the family an ex-girlfriend. The Murder of Julie Love

On July 11th, 1988, 27-year-old Julie Love was on her way home from a meeting when she disappeared. Her car was found a few days later and police theorized that she had run out of gas and met with foul play. It became a highly publicized missing persons case and the pressure was on the police to solve it. Julie's family did everything they could to find their daughter. Matthew Macon

Matthew Macon had a rough childhood and he, along with some of his siblings, were placed into foster care at an early age. Macon developed a pretty extensive juvenile record and spent time at a number of facilities for juvenile offenders. He committed his first sexual assault at the age of 14.
