Ep 177: Moving From Strength to Strength

On this episode, we explore Arthur Brooks’ fantastic book ‘From Strength to Strength’ (which was J.R.’s book of the year in 2022). In it, Brooks talks about two kinds of intelligence, fluid intelligence and crystalized intelligence. Brook argues that if we don’t jump from the fluid intelligence curve to the crystalized intelligence curve, we run the risk of living the second half of life without purpose or meaning. But, if we can be resilient and make the jump, we – and the world – will be better off for it. We can, as Brook writes, move from strength to strength.***If you haven’t signed up for my every other week FREE newsletter 5 Things in 5 Minutes (5 valuable nuggets that can be read in 5 minutes or less), check outwww.kairospartnerships.org/5t5m. . .I’d love to hear from you.
