Jeni Britton: Founder of Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams and Floura
Jeni Britton is the founder of Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams and the new fiber bar company Floura. Jeni grew up loving food and entrepreneurship—so much so that she left college to pursue her dream of making ice cream. After years of researching and experimenting with new and innovative flavor combinations, she founded Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams in 2002. Over the next 17 years, she built Jeni’s into an ice cream sensation. Today, the brand generates over $125 million in annual revenue and is known for its unique, delicious flavor combinations. By 2019, however, she was burnt out. She stepped away from the company, allowing herself time to rest and reflect. During this period, she embarked on a health journey, which led her to the world of fiber. Britton soon learned that a majority of Americans do not get enough fiber, so she set about experimenting with innovative ingredients and nutrients. The result is Floura—a new line of fiber bars featuring 12 different fiber sources from whole plants that come in flavors like Blueberry Matcha and Brambleberry Lavender. Floura launched in January through direct-to-consumer sales and Pop Up Grocer in January, selling out its initial run in just two days.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
