Episode 4 - Learn the Number 1 Questions to ask your Lover to Transform your Relationship.

It doesn't matter what type of partnership you're in; you should ask relationship questions regularly to keep your lines of communication open and healthy. From business partnerships to personal connections, there will always be obstacles that you will need to conquer together. There is a reason you chose your person as a partner, but do you ever take the time to remember what that reason is?    In this video conversation, Beth Hanishewski, the swiss-army knife of coaching, and David T. S. Wood share some powerful questions you should ask yourself and your partner. Beth and David are both experts in the field of relationship repair, and they aren't afraid to get real about the root of the issue. If you're ready to move your relationships to the next level and transform your partnerships for the better, this episode is a must-see!   You will want to hear this episode if you are interested in...   Transforming your relationship Figuring out where your relationship is on a scale of 10–0 Understanding what the rating you assigned to your relationship means Taking action today to work on getting your partnership to a 10 Remembering WHY you chose that person as a partner Two powerful questions you can ask to generate meaningful, open communication   How to rate your relationship on a scale of 10–0   As a seasoned relationship expert, Beth always challenges her clients to take a moment to rate the relationship in question on a scale of 10–0.   10 means that your relationship couldn't get any better 0 means that it couldn't get any worse   Take a moment to choose a number for your relationship before you read on.   If you chose 10–9–8…   You're happy, for the most part. You have some bad moments, but they don't have a lasting impact. You may experience a temporary loss of connection, intimacy, or in how you speak to each other. If you fight or argue, it doesn't even occur to you that you will leave the partnership. No REAL threats to the relationship.   If you scored 7–6...   You may find yourself saying, "I love them… BUT…". There is one big reason or "but" that you're struggling to move past. Most of your issues have been resolved, except that "but".   If you rated your partnership a 5–4...   You WANT better your situation. The relationship is threatened, and you're considering leaving. You may have been contemplating leaving for a while. There isn't just one issue, but several that you’re concerned about.   But if you rated your relationship a 3–2–1–0...   This area is the most dangerous. You may have completely given up on your relationship already. You may not even care to put in the work to fix your situation.   What can you do to start building your score?   Both Beth and David agree that it's best to work on getting your relationship to a 10 before making any drastic decisions on your partnership. While you can start to do the work on your own, it's best to include your partner by inviting them to be part of your process. Calmly and respectfully open the conversation to see if there is something you can both agree to do for 30-days. If they don't agree, commit to making the change yourself. Chances are, your partner will see a drastic change in you, which could allow you to approach the subject again in the future.   Remind yourself why you love that person, and why you chose them in the first place rather than focusing on the issue. Try to notice the little things you appreciate about them, instead of the things they do that bother you. Taking these steps to change your mindset will help you close the gap to reach that perfect 10.   The two most important relationship questions you can ask   Beth mentions two easy relationship questions that you can ask today to start generating a conversation with your partner. Even if you aren't sure where the issue is, this can gauge what areas your partner may see problems:   What do I do that pushes you away? What do I do that pulls you closer?   Did you notice the focus of these questions? These allow your partner to share some things that THEY need from YOU, rather than opening up the conversation with things YOU need from THEM. This gentle opening can make even the most apprehensive partners feel open to sharing with you. Plus, chances are, once they've answered your questions, they will probably ask the same of you!   Whoever it is that you choose to do this work with, you chose them for a reason. Even if it's someone you decide to part with, David suggests that you should do your best to only say positive things about them to people you both know. If you're able to do this, you may be able to end your relationship on good terms and continue having a positive relationship with them for years to come.     Connect with Beth Hanishewski   Beth Hanishewski’s Website: http://www.mindsetcoaching.com/ Beth on Instagram: @mindsetcoaching Follow Beth on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/mindsetcoaching Follow Beth on Twitter: @BethHanishewski

Episode #3 Lifestyle Design, Joyful Living, And Rejecting Regret, with Lisa DeMayo

One of the greatest benefits of the Network Marketing opportunity is the way it can facilitate and empower lifestyle design. If that’s a term you’re not familiar with, you’re in for a treat. This video conversation features successful businesswoman and lifestyle design coach, Lisa DeMayo. Her story is one of difficulty and hardship turned to joy and she shares some of the pivotal moments in her story during this conversation with David T.S. Wood.   Take a deep breath. Stop to intentionally open your heart and mind. If you come to this conversation in that posture, you’ll be inspired, challenged, and equipped to begin taking steps that help you design the life you want.   You will want to hear this episode if you are interested in...   What it means to engage in lifestyle design Developing personal adaptability [4:37] Learning to use hardship to your advantage [11:01] How to design your life as you want in every circumstance [16:20] Making truthful statements that empower your life [24:01] Lisa’s first steps to designing her life and changing what she didn’t want [30:34] How to choose joy and deal with sadness and loss [36:56] Finding a way to take extreme responsibility for your life [43:21] Releasing the burden of shame and guilt [50:45] Hearing Lisa’s challenge to you for moving your life forward [53:30]   People who choose to view hard things as opportunities will flourish   As Lisa says during this conversation, “None of us gets out of life alive.” We know how the story ends so if we are wise, we’ll take the time to figure out how to make the most of the time we have. Both Lisa and David have learned—through both joyous and extremely painful circumstances—that everything that comes into our lives is an opportunity to grow and ultimately flourish.   Lisa specifically points out that the hard times, though we typically want to avoid them or escape them as soon as possible, are some of the best opportunities for designing the life we want. They open a doorway to self-discovery, growth, and resilience like nothing else.   Learn to design your life in the midst of every circumstance   When we talk about lifestyle design what we’re addressing is the inner compulsion all of us have to live the kind of life we want to live. We want to have a sense of control, a sense of direction over the course of our own lives. The good news is that while we can’t control the circumstances that come into our lives, we can control the way we respond to them.   Did you get that? Our RESPONSE to the events of our lives is what has the greatest impact on the overall direction of our lives. What is the best response?   Lisa says a “can do” attitude that sees the difficulty as an opportunity is vital. Use the circumstances presented to you as tools to provide further insight into your own thinking, feeling, and default responses, and make intentional positive changes to what you find. Little by little you can chip away at old habits of thinking and feeling that have been unproductive and unhelpful. Keep listening… Lisa provides a challenging exercise you can implement immediately.   Lisa’s challenge: Take the first steps to free yourself from your limitations   Most of us know it, but don't care to admit that we have emotional baggage, limiting beliefs, and bad habits that keep us stuck, generate consistent patterns of inner frustration, and push us to the brink. Lisa’s recommended exercise (shared near the end of the conversation) is aimed at helping you take the first steps out of that place.   STEP ONE: Take out a notebook or journal and begin brain-dumping all of your “emotional stuckness.” Don’t stop, keep writing, get it all out. It may take as much as a few hours but will be well worth the investment. As you do this, express every pain, every regret, every resentment, every lack of forgiveness, every bitterness that you feel. You need to get them out of your system and onto paper so you can see them and admit that they exist.   And don’t worry… you will burn this list or shred it to tiny bits once you’re done. Nobody else ever has to see it.   STEP TWO: After you’ve admitted what’s on the page (and have destroyed it as a symbol of leaving it all behind you), compose a letter to your younger self. Give yourself advice, based on what you’ve discovered in the previous exercise, about how to live a better life, how to deal with hurts and pains more effectively, and how to embrace attitudes that empower your life rather than inhibit it.   Lisa explains the exercise in detail, so be sure you take the time to invest in your own lifestyle design by watching the video of this great conversation!   Resources & People Mentioned   Brene Brown Zig Ziglar Dale Carnagie Napoleon Hill Tony Robbins - course: Date With Destiny   Connect with Lisa DeMayo   Lisa DeMayo on Instagram: @lisademayo Follow Lisa on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/LisaDeMayoCoach Lisa’s book: The Art Of Getting What You Want

Network Marketing Critical Skills with Emily Vavra #2 Part Series - Episode 2 Six through Nine

Achieving network marketing success isn't easy. Top earners in this industry have done so through countless hours studying, thousands of calls, and lots of hard work. In this second-deep dive into practical business strategies, David T. S. Wood and his guest Emily Vavra, share their secrets to success and everything they've discovered along the way. Anyone can be a successful network marketer. Take the time to build your contact list, talk to people regularly, and share your vision. There is no better time to build on your skills or start assembling your team than NOW. Read on for these advanced tips to help you reach your goals and see the drastic difference they can make in your life and business. You will want to hear this episode if you are interested in... Learning how to help someone get started in network marketing Using events to increase retention and build unity within your team Stopping the fear of your current situation so it doesn't hold you back Figuring out how to change your circumstances so you can focus on your vision Speaking your goals into existence Learning how to use social media to grow your business Step one: Getting a new person started When it comes to determining how to start your working relationship with a new person, you should begin by asking questions to figure out what goals you can help them achieve. Once you've gotten to know their motivations and needs, you can figure out where they will fit in your business, either as a customer or as a part of your team. By introducing a checklist early on, you can have a clear and thorough understanding of what they are hoping to gain by using the products or joining your business. A handy checklist to use with new people who have shown interest is: Invite them to attend a meeting or watch a video Schedule a follow-up call or meeting Have them fill out the new associate interview Talk with them to find out what they need Review the interview and take note of their goals and apprehensions Welcome them to your group publicly and introduce them to your team Each time you touch base with that new person, recommend resources that they can review that may help them overcome their apprehensions. Also, keep the door open to everything else you have to offer while supporting them where THEY want to be. Step two: Encouraging event attendance Events in network marketing are EVERYTHING! They ignite excitement in each person who attends and gives them valuable tools to progress them through the business. It opens up more opportunities for finding inspiration and relatable success stories that can help them overcome obstacles. Whether it's a major, companywide event or a personal get together with your team, be consistent with YOUR participation and encouragement. If you do your part to get people to attend and you offer options consistently, they will most likely start to show up for you over time. Don't let your current situation hold you back from growing your business. Everyone starts somewhere so find ways to move past those fears and focus on your vision and where you WANT to be. With the right mentality and work ethic your situation is going to change, so focus on that instead! Step eight: How to promote a vision of network marketing success Do you have a clear vision of where you want to go with your company? Ask yourself these questions to find and cast your perfect vision: What do you see happening in the future? How long are you committed to pursuing this vision? What are the specific steps in your plan? Why do you want this person to be part of your vision? How do your goals align and how can you help each other! Learning how to shift your vision and unite your goals is a crucial step to keep you moving forward when things get tough. Success doesn't come easily or quickly but having a clear vision will give you direction and focus. Additionally, as you achieve your goals your vision will become your testimony. Take a few minutes, right now, to rate yourself on a scale from 1-10 in the following areas: What is your belief in the products? What is your belief in the compensation plan? What's your belief in network marketing? What's your belief in Isagenix, specifically? What is your belief in yourself? Do you believe that you can become a successful network marketer? Rate yourself honestly and as you cast your vision, work to get yourself to a 10 in every area. Focus on any areas with a low score to make sure you completely understand them. Once it's clear to other people that YOU believe in these areas, then THEY will start to believe too! Step nine: How to utilize social media effectively Social media is a free tool so if you aren't using it, start now! Emily cautions you not to spam your current friends and connections with your network marketing pitches or promotional posts. What you SHOULD do is showcase who you are and what you represent. The people you meet along the way will want to be able to look you up and see if your values align with theirs. Pick 3-5 things that you are passionate about and focus on posting about those things regularly. Emily's top ten tips for effective social media usage are: Be yourself and speak from the heart Don't force things or make everything you post a sales pitch Try to post things that are helpful or inspiring Post consistent content people can rely on Be a content creator, not just a consumer Share your routine and what products you use daily Post regularly and consistently Check-in with yourself regularly to see how your social media usage is influencing your mood Take a break from social media when you need to and don't feel guilty about it! Consider pre-recording posts so you have content to share when you don't want to be active Utilize the tools around you and figure out what would work best for your situation. There is plenty of business out there, so put in the work to get it! Network Marketing Success BASIC Principles, with Emily Vavra, Ep #1

Emily Vavra’s key to unlocking network marketing success is focusing on helping people rather than making a sale. She walks through her life, looking for the next great connection to see how she can help THEM achieve greatness. Learning how to love people and taking the time to understand their motivations and struggles can help you determine when to take action and when to be a friend.   People don’t want to enter into a conversation if they think you’re only interested in getting them to buy something. Many new network marketers quickly burn themselves out because they focus on selling the products, meeting their financial goals, and rattling off data and statistics to an already apprehensive audience. In this video conversation, Emily and her host, David T. S. Wood, discuss fundamental skills you can start practicing immediately to revive or jumpstart your business! Plus, Emily shares an excellent business starting exercise you can do from anywhere!   You will want to hear this episode if you are interested in...   Helping people grow and succeed in life and business Finding new people to add to your list of contacts Discovering how to invite people, so they want to say, “Yes!” Presenting information about your business in an exciting and successful way Learning when and how many times to follow-up Knowing when to act to close a sale   Skill one: Finding people to add to your contact list   How many people are on your contact list? Do you HAVE a contact list? One of the first challenges Emily got from her mentor was to sit down for two-minutes and make a list of everyone that she could contact to share her business. She suggests starting with the first five people you would be most comfortable talking to about the company so you can gain experience.   Be conscious of the people you interact with everyday who could be a great addition to your team, or who could benefit from what your business has to offer. However, these are people that you will spend a lot of time with so be conscious of that fact when you invite them to your team.   Exercise: Take two minutes to start your list now! Write down anyone you know who you think could benefit from your services or products. Keep your list updated, so you always have new people to contact.   Skill two: Inviting people to listen and learn   There are two great ways to invite people to consider your business:   The Direct Ask: You can make it clear that you know you’re being direct by saying, “I know this is forward, but…,” or “Have you considered…?” It’s essential to state WHY you want to ask them so urgently.   The Gentle Ask: The “If I… would you…” statement allows you to share information to get their opinion. “I thought of you because…” statements focus on the specific reasons they stood out to you.   When you’re inviting, embrace the “no.” Most people won’t be interested until they’re ready, so don’t let the fear of “no” stop you from inviting them again when the time is right.   Skill three: Presenting information   When you present information about different products and services work to make the information personal and unique. Ask them questions to learn what they may want or need but give them plenty of time to talk and open up on their terms. Use the products available, so you have a testimony to share when the time comes.   To do:   Be authentic Keep the meetings brief (30-minutes or less) Make sure someone can duplicate your meeting (Use the tools provided)   Skill four: Follow-up calls   Find creative ways to stay in touch with the person so they don’t forget about you, but don’t mention your business every time. If you aren’t pushy and you maintain a friendship, you may be surprised when a “No,” turns into a “Not now,” and eventually a, “Yes!”   Your information won’t be important to people UNTIL it’s important to them! Don’t take it personally; stay positive and supportive of that person indefinitely.   Skill five: Closing a sale for Network Marketing Success   People want you to help them better their lives but they all come to the table with different goals and apprehensions. Make sure they have enough information to make a decision, reassure them of a money-back guarantee, and offer them the BEST option available. If you ASK for the sale, you might get it!   Practice makes perfect. Rehearse your pitch anytime you have the chance and get comfortable with “No.” Find a language that is comfortable for you and be true to your authentic self. Your story is unique to you so don’t be afraid to create YOUR path to success!
