Raising an Intuitive Eater
I talk to Pediatric Dietitian, Jessica Gust, about ways to raise an intuitive eater.
Jessica has an amazing Instagram account (@elementnutrition.kids) where she shares tips on nutrition, picky eating, and any common concern you would have in regards to feeding your child.
She also has resources on her website including how to introduce solids and easy meal ideas for kids using pantry/frozen foods (timely for the COVID-19 Pandemic).

Jessica and I chat about ways to raise an intuitive eater and what it means to be an intuitive eater. Allowing your child to have a positive relationship with food is important and we hope this episode can lay a healthy foundation for feeding your child.

"I Just Had a Baby! Now What?"
Having a new baby is tough, but I hope this episode makes it a little bit easier. Our son is now three months old and I want to share some of the tricks of the trade (from my personal and professional experience) to get you through the whirlwind that is---THE FOURTH TRIMESTER.
To all my mommas currently pregnant during the COVID-19 pandemic, I sincerely hope this episode will help ease your mind and make you feel better about that transition into the fourth trimester. Being a new mom is already hard and this pandemic truly does add another layer.
I discuss:
Getting to know your baby's temperament
Understanding sleepy, feeding, and ready-to-play cues
Ways to engage with your baby from a developmental standpoint
Baby care
Safety
Visitors
Strategies to set a foundation for self-soothing and sleep
When to seek medical attention
As a disclaimer, this is medical education and all concerns should be discussed with your child's healthcare clinician. Your Pediatrician will likely also discuss other reasons to follow up depending on your child's medical history and exam.
