Episode 164: Lucinda Bakken White: Transformational Portals Between Life and Death/Confessions of a Bone Woman/Realizing Authentic Wildness in a Civilized World

Lucinda Bakken White, author and soul guide, began her professional career with a MBA and a coveted position at IBM only to realize that material success did not make her happy, as her family and the over culture had promised it would.  After moving through a suicidal depression at age 27, Lucinda boldly pushed against cultural norms to know and express authenticity.  Remarkably, her biggest shift happened when she touched an ancient buffalo bone, and it ignited her passion for working with dead animals.  For over two decades, Lucinda has immersed herself into the sacred realms of death and dying, where she experiences beauty in the seemingly ugly, witnesses the laws of transformation, and recognizes herself in the reflection of nature.  Now, as an elder with experience in the process of self-discovery and personal transformation, Lucinda inspires and guides others to connect with their authentic nature and move through large and small journeys of change that are triggered by fear, depression, anxiety, exhaustion, heartbreak, identity crisis, life stage transitions, illness or the desire to live a more meaningful life.   She is also the author of her memoir, Confessions of a Bone Woman:  Realizing Authentic Wildness in a Civilized World--and currently studying to become a Death Midwife.  For information about Lucinda, visit her instagram page @authenticwildness or her website at: https://authenticwildness.com/ This podcast is available on all podcast platforms, or here: https://endoftheroad.libsyn.com/episode-164-lucinda-bakken-white-transformational-portals-between-life-and-deathconfessions-of-a-bone-collectorrealizing-authentic-wildness-in-a-civilized-world Have great weekend!
