Today, we're talking about how the chatbots actually work, why there have been reports of very strange responses, and how this technology could be used later on for convenience and productivity – or – destruction and, not to be dramatic, but… the downfall of society. Here to explain it all is award-winning computer scientist: Kentaro Toyama. He is the W.K. Kellogg Professor of Community Information at the University of Michigan School of Information, a fellow of the Dalai Lama Center for Ethics and Transformative Values at MIT, and author of "Geek Heresy: Rescuing Social Change from the Cult of Technology."
