Screw It Just DO It with Alex Chisnall
Welcome to the Screw It Just DO It podcast
Subscribe and be a part of the movement to help you get to where you want to be.
I'm your host Alex Chisnall, and on this podcast I look to answer one simple question:
How do you get to where you want to be?
I chat to inspirational entrepreneurs, sports stars, and entertainers who took the leap.
They became the people they wanted to be. They did what they always wanted to do.
They might just help you discover how to do it too...
I'm an entrepreneur and podcaster, who's fascinated by human potential. I love taking my guest's experiences plus things I have learnt along the way to help others get to where they want to be.
I'm super-proud for this show to be in the top 1% of all podcasts globally, listened to in 180+ countries and charted #1 everywhere from the UK to Uganda.
Every Wednesday morning we launch a new episode and we encourage and are grateful all your comments.
Cheers,
Alex 🤘🏼

Learning to Express Yourself & Be Heard with David Drebin
Welcome to Episode #468 with David Drebin, a world renowned photographer, artist and author. During this episode, we talk about his passion for arts and photography and how he sees life through his camera. Here are some highlights: It's important to build yourself and everything else will come. Have a lot of passion for what you do. But also have a sense of detachment. It's important to have that duality of passion and detachment. It's NOT about people who don't believe in you. It's all about people who you don't believe in. Reverse it. Instead of looking for people to believe in you, find people that you believe in. 99% of success and happiness depends on sleep, exercise, and hydration. Relationships are like plants. If you stop watering them, they die in the end. It's so simple. Social media is also a way to scale your brand instead of waiting for other people to promote you. Promote yourself in a clever way and build an audience. Provide value. Entertain or educate people. For social media, it's important to post a lot, but reveal very little about yourself. If you're looking for feedback from other people, you're relying on external gratification and that is dangerous. All gratification has to come internally. The biggest battle is actually with yourself. It comes down to self acceptance or rejection. Success Habits, Rituals and Routines
Welcome to Sunday's Solo Episode #467. During this episode, we talk about my very own success habits, rituals and routines. A lot of these have some commonalities to all these successful entrepreneurs that I've interviewed for the show. What I do is I take one thing away from each interview and try to implement it in my life. I hope this adds some value and improves your business and personal life. Here are some highlights: Always start and end your day from a place of gratitude. Focus on how you want to run your day. Visualise what you want to accomplish. Think about your end goal. Break down your goal into 3 things you can accomplish for the day. At the end of the day, it's important to review things and reflect back. If you don't schedule it, then it doesn't happen. If you bring your passion and have a positive mindset, you won't fail. Why Running is Like Running a Business
Welcome to Sunday's Solo Episode #459. During this episode, I talk about the parallels between running and running your business. Here are some highlights: In running, all you need is a pair of trainers, shorts, t-shirt and the road. In starting your business, you can literally run with a phone or a laptop. Progress is slow at the start. But if you turn up everyday, do the work, trust the process and you will get there. It's lonely being a solo runner so join a running club and engage with the running community. It's the same with being a solo founder. Get a mentor and go to networking events. There are no shortcuts. There are no overnight success stories. Put in the hard work and reap the fruits after.
