In essence, when it became clear the West would do virtually nothing to stop Russian Pres. Vladimir Putin, especially Pres. Alex posits that globalism is leaving both America and Europe vulnerable and notes that there is also blood on the hands of the establishment media. The West seems consistently overmatched when dealing with Eastern dictators and this time it is the Ukrainian people who are suffering for it. On today's Breitbart News Daily podcast, we open as we have for the previous few episodes with an update on which troops Russian President Vladimir Putin has moved around in regions of Ukraine that he already controls. Thrilling. Very little changed over night at the Russia/Ukraine border, and no, there was no invasion like the Big Joey administration suggested, but the American establishment media has still worked itself into a lather at the prospect of war. One FOX News Channel reporter might be the most excited of them all. We explain. And while these moves have yielded no consequences from the Biden administration, Germany has decided to halt the Nord Stream 2 pipeline that would double the flow of gas from Russia direct to Germany. But who does that really hurt? Russia or Europe? The UN Security Council has even called an emergency meeting - too bad Russia chairs the council right now. Awkward. Meanwhile, on our own continent, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has done what we feared and even expected: he is keeping tyrannical "emergency" powers that were ostensibly designed to suppress the allegedly violent but actually peaceful Freedom Convoy. This should be an outrage to every Canadian, yet the the parliament backed Trudeau in a vote that wasn't all that close. Scary. Russia-backed forces slightly increased the shelling of a region of Ukraine that is not Kiev, yet the American media and NATO and the Big Joey administration all consider this evidence that Putin is about to try to take Kiev. This has led our geriatric President to announce that he would meet with Putin, no doubt allowing the Russian premier to ask for all sorts of things he wasn't otherwise going to get. But there is only one problem: Putin might not even be interested in meeting Biden, anyway. Let's go, Brandon!The biggest story in the world is still the Canada trucker Freedom Convoy which was crushed by police over the weekend. Justin Trudeau's authoritarian streak is wide, and it was on full display with video surfacing of a woman getting stomped on by a horse cop. Yikes. But perhaps what is even scarier than physical violence against peaceful protesters is that the debanking has begun, with law enforcement working with financial institutions to target the money of the truckers and their sympathizers. I explain.  Male swimmer Lia Thomas, a big cheater, broke several more Ivy league records over the weekend. No one who believes in science cared enough to stop it. Bill Gates acknowledged Omicron was kinda sorta a little bit like a vaccine for countless millions of Americans. Can we end the mandates now, plese?
