Founder Isaac Alfton came up with the TriggerGive idea while attending the IE Business School in Madrid, Spain for his MBA. After one too many annoying political posts showing up on his social media feeds, he decided to do something about it. After being frustrated at non-stop political cheap shots on his social media feed, instead of replying with a witty comment, he just made a donation to the opposing side.
