9: How NeuroAcoustics Can Eliminate Stress and Improve Health (Part 1) - Dr. Jeffrey Thompson

We live in a stressful world, and many of us seem to constantly be stuck in fight or flight. No matter how hard we try to relax, it seems as if we’re always just a little bit activated. In this episode, we talk with Dr. Jeffrey Thompson, a pioneer in NeuroAcoustics, who has been using sound therapy to help his patients move back to states of calm and balance. He’s found that we each have a unique fundamental frequency, or specific sound that when listened to helps us get out of fight or flight and back to homeostasis.  It is from this state of homeostasis, that we give our bodies a chance to heal from chronic conditions and experience profound shifts in our physical, mental, and emotional health. 8: Deactivating Your Mind to Reactivate Your Life - Dr. David Perez-Martinez

Is it possible to harness the power of sound to support us in letting go of old limiting belief systems and cultivate a better state of mental well being?  In this episode, we interview psychotherapist Dr. David Martinez, who shares with us what he has found it takes to bring about profound changes in our mental and emotional well being. There’s no magic pill. Ultimately, only we can make the changes we desire in our life, but it is possible to use certain tools, including sound, to meaningfully support us in the process.  Dr. Martinez shares with us practical tools and practices we can start using today to optimize our own healing journey. Dr. David Perez-Martinez is an Integrative Psychiatrist, Therapeutic Sound Practitioner, researcher and lecturer. His work in the therapeutic use of sound dates back to 1977 when he utilized the voice as an instrument for self-awareness, empowerment and wellbeing. 7: The Healing Frequency of Love - Annaliese Reid

In this episode, we talk to Annaliese Reid who was diagnosed with scleroderma, a rare and debilitating autoimmune disease. She was told by her doctors that it was terminal and she would never again have a healthy life.  Annaliese accepted the diagnosis but not the prognosis. Twenty years later, she is healthy and happy. In this episode, she talks about her healing journey and the power of our minds and hearts to create the conditions for our bodies to heal. When we’re in activated states, healing shuts down. When we clear our emotional baggage and experience states of love and gratitude, we actually turn on different cellular switches in our bodies and optimize ourselves for healing. Learn about epigenetics and how our environment affects our genes, research coming out of Stanford on the power of the mind, and a Harvard study that supports the power of feeling love in our lives.  In the words of Annaliese, “when the mind and heart are in order, when things are in alignment, healing can happen.” Bio: https://dnareprogramming.online/my-story/ Links: https://dnareprogramming.online/ Picture: https://dnareprogramming.online/ Visit our website: https://ResonanceRising.co

6: Re-Tuning Your Nervous System with Sound - Dr. John Beaulieu

Like a piano or a guitar string, is it possible to “retune” your nervous system back into balance…back into harmony? In this episode, we interview Dr. John Beaulieu who shares with us his incredible discovery that our nervous system produces different sounds when in and out of balance (i.e., when in states of peace and calm and when in states of stress and activation).  With a background in music, he wondered if harmonic sounds and vibrations (e.g., produced by tuning forks) could help “re-tune” the nervous system back into balance after stressful events. Listen to learn more about what he discovered and how he’s been using tuning forks to help thousands around the world find greater peace and calm. _____   Dr. John Beaulieu, N.D., Ph.D., has been a major innovator in the field of sound healing therapy for over 30 years. He has pioneered a technique called BioSonic Repatterning™, a natural method of healing using tuning forks and other sound modalities based on the sonic ratios inherent in nature. A world-renowned speaker, composer, pianist, and naturopathic doctor, he lectures and conducts training seminars world-wide for practitioners in the healing arts. He is a NYS licensed psychotherapist, Board Certified Naturopathic Physician, and a board certified Polarity Practitioner.     Referenced Links: https://biosonics.com/ https://biosonics1.bandcamp.com/   Visit our website: https://ResonanceRising.co    https://biosonics.com/about-us/ https://menla.org/teachers/dr-john-beaulieu/ https://sivanandayogafarm.org/teachers/996/john-beaulieu-n-d-ph-d/

5: The Universe is Built on Music - Marshall Lefferts

In this episode, we talk with Marshall Lefferts, author of Cosmometry, about the “design principles” of our universe - how everything that appears to us as physical is really made up of energy, how this energy is harmonically organized using the principles of music, and how it all works together to create what we experience as physical reality. It’s through this understanding that we open up the potential we all have to not only be witnesses of reality but also powerful co-creators with it. 2: Your Mind Can Change Your Biology - Dr. Hemal Patel & Dr. Toby Bertram-Moeller

Do we all have more power than we realize to dramatically shift our states of health and vitality?  Are there certain experiences that can materially change our biology and even the expression of our genes?  In this episode, we look at Dr. Patel and Dr. Moeller-Bertram’s unprecedented research at UCSD on the mind-body connection and how it’s possible for us to change our biology through the power of our mind using meditation.  Hemal H. Patel, PhD, is a Professor and Vice-Chair for Research in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Patel’s career has focused on developing an integrated understanding of the organism by studying whole animal and cell physiology techniques with a particular focus on bio-membranes and cellular energetics. He has published over 170 original manuscripts, reviews, and book chapters featured in prominent journals such as Science, Nature Communications, and Circulation. Dr. Patel was initially skeptical about the ability of the mind to impact health, but after reviewing early evidence, he was convinced more research needed to be done to discover the power and impact of meditation on biological markers that would define the mind-body connection. Today, he is actively involved in using an unbiased, discovery-based approach to reveal basic insights into how the meditating mind creates physical changes to alter the biology of living systems. Dr. Patel’s laboratory is poised to link physics, biophysics, and biology to potentially transform our understanding of the mind’s power to change human health. Tobias Moeller-Bertram, MD, is the Chief Medical Officer of Desert Clinic Pain Institute and Summit Institute, focusing on whole-patient care through a multidisciplinary approach. Dr. Moeller-Bertram’s postgraduate training included anesthesia residency at the University of California, San Diego, followed by fellowship training in pain management from the University of California, San Francisco. He joined the Veterans Administration (VA) San Diego Healthcare System and established its pain clinic, serving the veteran population. During his years at UCSD and the VA, he served as the Director for Clinical Pain Research. He currently runs a vibrant private clinical pain service that also incorporates significant research activities in Southern California. Born in Germany, Dr. Moeller-Bertram is currently also an Associate Clinical Professor with the University of California, Riverside, School of Medicine.
