#49: Dr Jessamy Hibberd - Strategies & Tactics For Overcoming Imposter Syndrome
Welcome back my Freedom Pact Family!
Today on the show, we are speaking to best selling author Dr Jessamy Hibberd
Jessamy is a London based clinical psychologist, and I was absolutely delighted to sit down with her and tackle the subject of imposter syndrome.
Jessamy is a Tedx speaker, an active consultant and spokeswoman. If you tune into LBC or women’s hour regularly, you’ll have more than likely have heard Dr Jessamy, alternatively you may have seen her work featured in major publications like the Guardian and Telegraph.
Have you ever been in a social or skilled setting and looked around and thought - I don’t belong here, I’m not as good as they think I am, I’ve got lucky etc It’s likely that it’s imposter syndrome. This is a hugely prevalent subject, something I myself have faced and I was so happy to discuss it with Jessamy.
We look at what it is, where imposter syndrome comes from, strategies, tactics, self-talk ideas for how to deal with it. If you would like more information on this, Jessamy does have a fantastic book on this called The imposter Cure, which you can pick up from the link below should you wish.
Can I ask you for a favour? If you liked this episode, could you leave it a rating and a review? It would mean the world to us!

#48 - Kevin Kelly - This Is How To Gain 1000 True Fans
Welcome back Freedom Pact family!
Guys before we begin, I want to issue an apology. In today’s episode, there was a slight sound issue which we’re really upset about.
We’ve invested heavily in recent months to provide you guys with the best possible audio experience possible, but something went wrong at parts in this episode. It’s not horrendous, but we are conscious of it and we’ll try our best to not let it happen again.
Today on the show we have the co-founder of Wired Magazine - Kevin Kelly. Kevin has been a multiple time Best seller, is a legendary futurist and has led Wired to winning the national magazine award for excellence which is the equivalent of the oscars. Pretty big deal if you ask me!
Kevin, is a go-to guy from Hollywood who have sought after his advice for the realistic future portrayals, and on top of this Kevin has had his own work featured in major publications like Life, Science, The New York times and the economist.
Just considering the magnitude of that achievement is something, but when you consider that Kevin actually dropped out of College to spend a decade photographing around Asia, in which he had to run a newsletter in Tehran to survive financially.
Many people know Kevin from his ideas surrounding the 1000 true fans. In this episode, we direct 3 major topics: How Kevin operates and how he made the decision to leave behind the standard path to go and create his own way, 1000 true fans, the meaning of it and how to get and keep them, and lastly we talk about AI.

#47: Dr. BJ Miller - Why Living a Life Of Regret Is Worse Than Death
Hey hey!
Welcome back my Freedom Pact family.
Today on the show, we are joined by Dr Bruce Miller @bjmillermd commonly known as BJ Miller.
I first stumbled upon BJ many years back through his Ted talk which has been viewed more than 5 million times on YouTube.
BJ is a hospice and palliative care physician at the UCSF Medical centre. Dr Miller previously worked as the executive director for the zen hospice project in which he treats hospitalised patients with terminal or life-altering illnesses.
BJ has been featured in many major publications. He’s appeared on Oprah’s super soul Sunday, the New York Times and he’s just releases a book alongside Shoshana Berger called the Beginners guide to the end, which one imagines will go on to be a best seller.
So by this point, you may be thinking what does this have to do with our brand? Like we’re a peak performance podcast? Well, I think this is a hugely important topic to cover. BJ has overseen the deaths of thousands of people, so there’s no other better person to tell us what really matters in life.
In this podcast, we’re going to talk about life and death. We’re going to discuss what really matters in life, what the biggest regrets are that people have at the end, and also how to live a life so you don’t mind when your time comes.
I think this could be one of the most important and captivating pieces of content we’ve produced, and I highly recommend you listen to the full thing.

#43: Dan Schawbel - The #1 Networking Mistake We Need To Avoid
Welcome back Freedom Pact family!
Very special guest today on the show - As you can see from the title of this podcast we have Dan Schawbel @danschawbel on social media.
I’m not sure anybody can look at Dan and not be inspired by what he’s achieved by such a young age.
This is a man that Business Insider said that “If there’s anyone who knows about the keys to building a successful career it’s Dan Schawbel.”
Some of Dan’s other feats include being on the Forbes & Inc 30 under 30 lists, being a New York Times best selling author, working with companies like IBM, Google, Oracle and 33/500 of the Fortune 500 companies.
But for me, the tip of the Iceberg goes much further than that. Dan is a research expert. By numbers he’s interviewed more than 2000 people that were defined as successful people like Warren Buffett, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sheryl Sandberg.. you get the idea.
Dan has conducted 48 research studies into the keys to workplace and in doing so has had more than 2000 articles published for publications like Forbes, Fortune, The Harvard Business Review and The world economic forum.
In today’s episodes, you’re going to learn about Networking, mindset and also how we can become as Dan describes it “Back to human.”
If you guys enjoy the episode, please subscribe and leave a review. It helps us so much with the visibility of the show.

#42: MJ DeMarco - Why Millionaires Don’t Follow Their Passion
“Don’t chase your passion, chase market needs.” - @mj.demarco
What is going on Freedom Pact family!
Back today for another episode - Today on the show we’re joined by none other than MJ DeMarco.
MJ is the best selling author of the book The Millionaire Fastlane, his latest book Unscripted has just hit the shelves and it is a very very interesting read.
MJ has a very interesting background - He founded limos.com which is a directory for people searching for Limos. From this site, MJ profited from leads. The business had both scale & magnitude so essentially he had created a money printing machine.
MJ sold the business once, then bought it back a year later - improved it and sold it for many, many more millions years later. MJ is also the founder of the Fastlane forum - which is an entrepreneurship based forum that will be linked alongside all of MJ’s other work below.
I see MJ as a real genius in the field of entrepreneurship and I don’t say that lightly. Most of the business decisions that I’ve made in my life have been based on the work that MJ has done. This is a fanastastic interview - I hope you all enjoy it.
If you guys liked the episode - please could you leave us a rating and review? It really helps us so much, and we love hearing from you.

#40: Dr Loretta Breuning - Leveraging Your Neurochemicals For Happiness
“Nothing is wrong with you.”
Today on the show, we have got Dr Loretta Breuning.
Loretta is the founder of the inner mammal institute and a professor at California State University.
Loretta is the author of major neuroscience books such as Habits of a happy brain & The Science of positivity.
Loretta has been featured in major publications like the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Psychology Today and Dr Oz to name a few.
This is a wonderful episode with Dr Breuning, which will help you build some sort of control over your mammalian brain.
Why should you be interested in this episode? I’ll explain. Essentially we’ve all inherited chemicals. Oxcytocin, Seretonin, endorphin and dopamine are all in continual flux within our brain.
This episode will give you an insight into so much practical lessons from Loretta that include what these major chemicals are and how we can use them. We delve into questions like anti-depressants, when they are useful to use and how to use them.
This idea that Loretta has called ‘victim goggles’ which I highly recommend listening to and we look at Loretta’s ideas on gratitude, and focusing on the locus of control and we delve into Loretta’s frameworks that is talked about in her works.
Overall, I thought it was a thoroughly engaging conversation with Dr Breuning and I hope you guys enjoy it.
