FRIDAY AKA GGB DAY ♡ hi our loves!!! we missed you. this week we talk about THE WAITING SEASON. God gave you a promise... but he's making you wait for it to come to pass. we know it's hard. but you're not alone in the waiting. it's common. it's necessary. and God's timing is absolutely perfect. we PROMISE! we read about Abraham and Sarah's journey with having their son, Isaac, in Genesis 15-21. we discuss how crucial it is not just to wait on God, but to wait well. to wait patiently and expectant of God's faithfulness to fulfill His promise. we talk about how going outside of God's will (kinda like the way Sarah did when she didn't believe God would give her a son of her own so she offered her maidservant to her husband to have a baby by...) will always result in a major lack of peace and often times a massive mess. but hallelujahhhh we serve a God who proves His promise in Romans 8:28 to be true every time. He will not only clean up our mess.. but even bless our mistakes (like He blessed the life of Hagar's son, Ishmael) we really enjoyed today's conversation and we hope you do as well. we love you so much. Happy Friday/GGB day. Boy, do we love seeing you guys every week. Today, we’re talking about how to trust God in the middle of a storm, similarly to how the disciples had to trust Jesus when they we’re on the boat with Him in the middle of a violent storm in Mark chapter 4. The truth is, most of us have really strong faith until we are faced with adversity and trials that are out of our control. Then, our faith and trust in God might start to waver a bit. Jesus probably looks at us and says “why are you so fearful? How is it you have no faith?” Just like He did to His disciples. (Mark 4:40) But we must remember that in all situations, in every circumstance, God is SOVEREIGN and Jesus is LORD and EVEN THE WIND AND THE SEA OBEY HIM. (Mark 4:41) We talk in depth on how to relinquish the desire to be in control and how to practically surrender to God. We touch on what it means to walk in the will of God and how determine His will for your life. We love you guys so much.
