The significance of blood is universal throughout human culture. A powerful symbol that can represent life, death, power and a multitude of other meanings. Medical science has determined there are 4 major blood groups and, within those, various subsets which determine the production of antigens in the body. Antigens are the body’s defense system, marking what substances or toxins that enters our bodies that need to be destroyed. One antigen is responsible for determining whether a blood system is RH positive or RH Negative. It has been alleged that those that possess the relatively rare RH Negative trait belong to a unique sub-group of humanity. Characteristics have been ascribed to this group such as: an increased occurrence of red hair, higher than average IQ, extra vertebrae, and even higher incidences of alien abductions. While some of the characteristics may be loosely connected, it is a known fact that a woman of RH negative has a very high chance of complications during pregnancy if she is carrying an RH positive fetus. In these cases it seems the body rejects the fetus as incompatible in some way. Could it be that RH negative blood is a marker of some ancient hybridization? A remnant of extraterrestrial or metaphysical interference in the human genepool? During the 1800’s modern civilization was making its inexorable march across North America. The progress of settlers across the western United States came at the cost of both the native americans cultures who lived there and indigenous wildlife. Timberwolves had once been a common sight in the midwest before settlers began to farm the land. Seeing the wolves as a threat to livestock and livelihood the settlers were obliged to hunt the beasts until the last timberwolf in Ohio was killed in 1842. Four decades later a group of lumberjacks in Wexford County Michigan had a disturbing encounter with an unidentified creature. When they described what they had seen the description seemed to fit what would be a close match for the modern day depiction of a werewolf. Sightings of these humanoid-canine creatures are reported all across North America. Seen both at night and in broad daylight the creatures often appear aggressive but those who have made reports of their sightings are often not outright attacked. Could the disappearance of the native wolf population have opened up a niche for these strange cryptids? When England decided to begin the colonization of Australia, then known as New South Wales, it was deemed necessary to help bolster the number of voluntary colonists with prisoners and undesirables. But when you send all your prisoners to be colonists where do you send the prisoners who can’t function as colonists? Answer: Tasmania. One notable location was timber station/turned prison that had begun its service in 1830. This prison housed the the worst of the worst from all over Australia, repeat offenders who could not serve a purpose even in a penal colony full of convicts. Guests of the prison were subjected to draconian isolation treatments and back-breaking hard labor. It’s no mystery why a number of prisoners decided to resort to suicide as a means of escape. With this much torture and pain all concentrated into one area it doesn’t come as much of a surprise that this area is now known as one of Australia’s top most Haunted locations. On the evening on November 5th, 1975 Mike Rogers was making the return trip with his logging crew from their work site within the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest. Rogers stopped the truck when they spotted a luminous object moving through the treetops that did not appear to be of Earthly origins. As the floating object moved toward the truck, one of the crew decided to try and get a closer look. Travis Walton left the vehicle and as he approached the craft he was struck by a blue light that hurled him to the ground with seemingly lethal force. Afraid for his life and the lives of those of the crew still in the truck, Rogers slammed the vehicle into drive and fled from site, thinking he had just been witness to his friend’s death. After an exhaustive search by police and volunteers of the area where they had encountered the UFO, no trace of Walton was found. 5 days later Walton’s Brother-in-law received a phone call, Travis had resurfaced in a town 30 miles from where he had last been seen and believed only a few hours had passed. The 70’s, a time of great social upheaval. Vietnam, Watergate, the equal rights movement all these events were challenging what had been considered to be traditional values. People were becoming dissatisfied with their lives and beginning to search for meaning in many unconventional places. Enter Terri Hoffman, in 1974 she founded the group known as Conscious Development of Body, Mind and Soul incorporated. Almost every human culture from around the world has stories of cities that are hidden beneath the ground. From the mythic city of Agartha said to lay at the center of the Earth or the shining city of Shambala that is rumored to be buried in the heart of the Himalayas. For most of history, these cities were though only to exist in myth and folklore. As archaeology has evolved with better techniques to peer into the depths of the planet many lost cities have recently been rediscovered, many of them laying deep within massive caves and cavern networks.Most of these magnificent cavern cities have their place in the historical record and seem to have been crafted with incredible intricacy and mapped and planned out as well as any surface dwelling and yet, there are others that defy explanation and hold no place in the histories of their region.
