How Did The Plan For Transformation Change Chicago Forever?
In 2000, Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley unveiled the “Plan for Transformation,” a decade-long initiative that demolished Chicago’s public highrises, overhauled the city's public housing system, and displaced thousands of Chicagoans.
