Letting it All Go to Build Your Personal Brand with Rachel B. Lee

Meet Rachel B. Lee Meet Rachel B. Lee, a fearless brand marketing ladyboss with over a decade of experience leading major brand and marketing strategies for Unilever, Microsoft, Gartner, and more. After receiving her MBA from the University of Texas, Austin, McCombs School of Business in 2016, she entered the technology industry at Microsoft. Rachel achieved over a billion impressions in 2017 as the social lead for Microsoft Inspire. Most recently, she led the brand and marketing strategy for Software Advice as a Gartner Sr., Brand Manager. This $50M revenue business helps small businesses find software and Rachel completely reinvented the brand identity and go-to market strategy. Now, she is Co-Owner and CMO at StandOut Authority, helping people define their personal brands, create influence, grow opportunities and build long-lasting human relationships on LinkedIn. You will come away from this conversation empowered, inspired, and ready to dust off your courageous cape. I saw the transformation that Rachel went through over the past year of realizing that being in a job that was 'fine' was not good enough. She opens up about the real-life stressors of leaving her esteemed job, including the physical ramifications of being an overachiever, and shares her courageous story of becoming a woman entrepreneur, or as we like to call her, a powerhouse ladyboss. Designing your own path Rachel B. Lee, one of my beloved coaching clients, is one of the more genuine and big-hearted women I know. She knew deep down she had a bigger purpose-to use her strengths, gifts, and genius talents at personal branding to support entrepreneurs who are eager to get their message and values to the world. Rather than follow a path that was laid out for her, she decided to design her own path. This was not easy, and it didn't happen overnight. We spoke vulnerably about what it takes to make the big shift to becoming an entrepreneur, as well as to redefine success and achievement. Rachel shares openly about her own physical health struggles, which are connected to the incredible stress she dealt with over the past year and from constantly being in an over-achievement mode. She talked about having to reprogram her concept of success, which now means more time to be present, mindful, healthy, and grateful. The Litmus Test Rachel tapped into her own truth and took a hard look at her job and her desires. She liked it but certainly didn't love it. She asked herself; how do I want to feel? She journaled and did a lot of inner work, realizing that she didn't want to stay in a safe, secure, and even lucrative job that didn't fulfill her at the heart and core of her being. She no longer wanted to spend all hours of the day working towards brand marketing and instead chose to build a personal brand around who she innately was. How to Authentically Stand Out Rachel B. Lee shares how, through personal branding and allowing the truth of yourself to shine through, you can truly stand out. This is her zone of excellence, mixing brand marketing with personal branding and finding the sweet spot. A place to start for all of my beloved entrepreneurial listeners out there is to get clear on the basic 4 elements of claiming your personal brand: your unique skills, audience, differentiation, and your passion. Final Thoughts Rachel B. Lee opens her heart to share with us how important it is to put personal branding over brand strategy. That we each have something special to bring to the table, our own bit of magic to sprinkle on all we do, if only we tune in and connect with that part of ourselves. Why You Must Follow Your North Star with Julie Reisler

Meet Julie Reisler Julie Reisler is a master Life Designer coach with over ten years of coaching experience and a master's degree in health & wellness coaching. Julie is the host and founder of the You-est You Podcast, with over 230+ episodes, and is the founder of the School of Sacredology, a big-hearted community for individuals looking to live from their heart and soul and go from fear to faith. Julie has been featured in Forbes magazine, MindBodyGreen, The Chopra Center, and Thrive Global. She is also a prominent teacher and guide on the popular app Insight Timer and is on the faculty at Georgetown University in their coaching program. To learn more about Julie and how she might support you on your You-est You journey, go to juliereisler.com. I'm thrilled you're here. Whether I've met you or not, we are soul family. Connected as one. I love recording these solo episodes and sharing this time with you. I hope you enjoy them too. If you listen to this episode, my guess is that you are doing a little soul searching. Maybe you know what you are searching for, or perhaps it is a feeling you have that something just isn't quite right, and there is a need to fill the void. In this episode, I talk about how to find and follow your North Star. I hope that this information is helpful for you and that it opens a doorway to amazing opportunities. What Is Your North Star To follow your North Star, you have to understand what it is and be able to find it. You have to know why it's important to be your most authentic self moment to moment. To be able to process what it is your heart desires and share who your You-est You is with yourself and the world. This means sharing your talents and your purpose with the world and letting your most authentic essence shine brightly upon everyone you meet. Your North Star is the inner compass that allows you to find what all those things are. Getting the Lay of the Land There came the point in my life when I realized I didn't just want "fine and good". That wasn't what I came to this planet to express. I came here to be amazing in my own way, just as you came here to be amazing in your own way too. But first, if you don't know how to express your fabulousness, you have to know where you stand, get the lay of the land. I have a tool, The Wellbeing Wheel, in the back of my Get a Ph.D. in You book. It can help you get a deep sense of where you are right now and where you need some support. You use The Wellbeing Wheel to assess different areas of your life, such as finances, family, health, spirituality, and see where you need the most help. Once you have the area in mind, perform the exercise as outlined in the episode to tune into how you want to feel when you get that aspect of your life just how you want it. Final Thoughts Once you do the exercise and connect to the feeling, you can truly tap into your North Star and follow where it leads you. It will always lead you to your best and highest good. Practice rehearsing your sacred feelings and give yourself time to reflect on them, journal about it or discuss it with others in the You-est You Facebook group. Allow yourself to be guided by your inner light. I'd love to know what you experienced and got from this episode. Please share with me in the You-est You Facebook community or email us anytime to share your insights, transformation, and miracles at team@juliereisler.com. Sacred Connection As always, this community is a sacred, safe place built on love and acceptance. It was created to help you evolve and expand into your highest self. How to Raise Your Self Worth and Net Worth with Jen Conroy

Meet Jennifer Conroy Jennifer Conroy is a certified Life Designer® coach with a specialty in net worth and worthiness, a CPA with 20 years of experience in the financial world, and is now serving highly ambitious women who want to get their financial health back in shape. We had such an honest and powerful conversation about Jen's inner journey with worthiness (or lack thereof) and how that impacted her sense of worth and way of handling money. I gratefully got to watch Jen use her coaching skills and create her business through much time, commitment, dedication, and passion for helping women thrive. Jen is a graduate of my Life Designer® coaching program and Monetize Your Purpose program, and I'm so eager to share her brilliance and wisdom around how to tap into your true worthiness and increase your financial health, wealth, and sense of self. Say Yes To Yourself Jennifer Conroy suffered from her own inner bully (oh, I can relate to this one) and never felt good enough. She constantly put herself down and ended up getting into a relationship with an older man in high school, who gave her the external validation she was craving instead of building her own self-worth. Jen realized within her own inner knowing that this was a wrong decision but ignored her intuition and ended up in a bad relationship. After a lot of heartache and dysfunction, she learned later in life to say yes to herself. Finding Your Purpose This saying yes to yourself showed up again recently as she realized that while she liked her job as a CPA and working in the financial realm, it was not feeding her soul. After becoming a Life Design coach, Jennifer Conroy could see the transformation within herself and those she coached. She realized that, like all of us, we are worthy, valuable and overcame her scarcity mindset to leap and trust the net would appear as she started her own coaching practice. This realization has proven true for her and all those she is here to serve around healing money and worthiness wounds. We got into depth about how to do this and how Jen learned to change her inner beliefs and story. Jennifer Conroy knew there was a happy medium between her old job and her new purpose that if she could help women improve their self-worth, they could improve their net worth. Self-Worth to Networth A few key takeaways from our conversation: Know and understand your story (or earliest memory) around money Ask yourself, 'Where does that story serve you, or not?' Budgeting beliefs: look at how you feel about budgeting. A budget is meant for you to spend money on what you love to experience. It's not about limiting yourself. Understand you are inherently worthy of love, kindness, and money. You are worthy because you were born. When in doubt, pause, slow down and take time to listen to your inner wisdom. We're all on a journey of deeper self-connection and worthiness. Final Thoughts In this episode, Jennifer Conroy helped us see that building your self-worth can also help build your net worth but not judge yourself if your net worth is less than you desire. One of my favorite quotes from our talk was, "The worth in your wallet is not your worth." Powerfully said, and so true. Hoping this conversation helps to elevate your own inner worthiness and beliefs about yourself and money. Sacred Connection As always, this community is a sacred, safe place built on love and acceptance. It was created to help you evolve and expand into your highest self. The Power of Positive Affirmations with Brianna Greenspan

Meet Brianna Greenspan Brianna Greenspan has been using the power of positive affirmations for over a decade to overcome the physical challenges that being born with a chronic invisible illness brings about. Defying the logic of doctors and the temptation to be a victim, Brianna has dedicated her life to healing herself while empowering others to take ownership over their own physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. Brianna is the Co-Author of the bestselling book, The Miracle Morning: Art of Affirmations, A Positive Affirmations Coloring Book designed to combine affirmations with mindful artistry. "Visualize the success you are looking to create and use the affirmations within this book as inspiration along your journey." Brianna Greenspan is also a fierce chronic illness advocate, mentor for teens and young adults with chronic illnesses, and Genetics Consultant at Gene By Gene, a genetic testing company based in Houston, Texas. Brianna is a very dear friend and one of the most giving and kind woman leaders I know. She has stepped forward this year in a big way moderating a daily Miracle Morning in the new app, Clubhouse, and has made this work available to thousands of children, schools, and individuals in need. We had a genuine and raw conversation about why it's crucial to stop hiding and unmuting yourself so that you can shine brighter and make a more significant difference. We talked about the power of positive affirmations and their more profound meaning and how changing her own positive affirmations helped her heal and thrive with a devastating chronic illness. Read on to learn how you can step into your greatest power and light. The Power of Positive Affirmations Since the first grade, Brianna Greenspan had muted herself when dealing with the repercussions of having a chronic illness with awful side effects like throwing up often and being in a wheelchair. She never felt like she fit in and decided to mute her voice and her whole self until she realized that this impacted her whole body healing and ability to make a change in the world. She explains that affirmations aren't just what you tell yourself; they are also the labels others give you that you then take on as your own truth. When you say "I am," you are vocalizing to the world the labels put on your life. For example, Brianna was saying, "I am sick," because that's what Doctors told her, yet that perpetuated her belief in her sickness versus her ability to heal. Observe what you say to yourself. Positive affirmations are everywhere and affirm to the Universe what you are. You will create new neural pathways and will start believing and being the affirmation of "I am strong," "I am capable," and "I am courageous." Brianna Greenspan took a hard look at what she was saying to herself and realized she could decide how to define her life and use words that were for her highest good. Instead of saying the phrases "I can't, I won't, I'll never," which were ingrained in her head, she now says to herself, "I can, I will, I am." Stop Hiding Yourself It can feel very uncomfortable for many of us who are used to being in a supportive background role, but if you feel called to step forward, it means there's more for you to do and say. What helped Brianna do this was visualizing herself as a girl who loves to step forward and come out of hiding. The message came up for her, 'How can you expect others to unmute themself if you are muting yourself?' This is where powerful rituals like visualization or positive affirmations can help to change your behavior. The Miracle Morning: Art of Affirmations is a great and fun way to start shifting your beliefs. Commit to Doing Good In All Ways You Can Start listening to your inner wisdom and intuition and follow that guidance to do more good in your life and that of others. I love what Brianna said before we ended our conversation when I asked about her 'heart flare', a term I use to depict a deep heart's desire to share something not yet spoken. She said, "I try to do the good I can, in all the ways I can, as often as I can, in every way I can, each and every day." The world needs us to shine brighter now, more than ever. I hope this inspires you, as it has inspired me, to truly be as kind and good to myself, the world, and to as many as others as possible. Final Thoughts Brianna Greenspan reminds us that positive affirmations are out in the world waiting to be spoken. That finding these positive affirmations and bringing them into your existence helps you become powerful and capable. Don't forget to look for her book, The Miracle Morning: Art of Affirmations, A Positive Affirmations Coloring Book. Fitness for Every Body with Meg Boggs

Meet Meg Boggs Meg Boggs is an author, athlete, mother, and self-empowerment advocate. From mental health to fitness inclusivity promoted alongside body-positive imagery, Meg continues to spark discourse about fat bodies and the experiences of plus-size women. Meg has been celebrated by CNN, The View, Good Morning America, People, Health Magazine, Shape, and PopSugar. Her debut book, Fitness for Every Body: Strong, Confident, and Empowered at Any Size, is out 4/27/2021. Becoming Who You Really Are Meg Boggs talked super openly about finally becoming the person she always was through a long journey of dealing with hurtful, unkind, and judgmental comments about her body and size. She explained that it took a lot of time to realize that she's not the problem and there's nothing to fix in being a plus-size woman. One of the pivotal moments for Meg Boggs was when Meg cut her hair, something she had always wanted to do but had heard she shouldn't given the shape and size of her face. Taking her freedom back and cutting her hair as she desired gave her the newfound freedom she had always been seeking. The same has come true for dressing in a way that feels best for her, be it cropped tops, wearing pink, and ditching heels. I LOVED Meg's genuine full self-expression to be herself, to feel free in how she lives her life, and in the self-empowerment messages she is sharing to let go of what others think. To follow your own inner guide and bliss. Finding Your Way to Self-Empowerment Much of Meg Bogg's story has been about owning her sovereignty. After years of being ridiculed and told what to do about her own plus-size body, she took self-empowerment seriously. Today, Meg is a badass role model for women of all sizes to love whatever body they are in. This is about making the shift from hiding and self-loathing to doing and being what you love and loving your whole self. Period. Self-Empowerment is the new sexy. Breaking Up With Dieting Meg Boggs realized that the freedom she sought came from breaking up with the diet culture and changing her story from weight loss to being strong, fit, healthy, and full of vitality. She was inspired by the power of intuitive eating, which is all about turning inward to ask your body what is most nourishing versus relying on sources outside of your own inner wisdom. This was a game-changer for Meg, and today she is trailblazing the way for millions of women around on how to stay fit, exercise, and make time for themselves, no matter what shape you're in or size you are. Meg is also about talking to kids about loving their bodies and sees this work as crucial, especially given she now has a three-year-old daughter, Maci, who looks up to her. Practicing self-empowerment is what helps her spread her message to love yourself whether you are a plus-size woman or not. Fitness For Every Body Meg Bogg's book Fitness for Every Body is meant to share both her story but also inspire you to start taking your own health and fitness seriously, to let go of any comparison or need to look a certain way, and to start appreciating your body as is, right now. One of the mantras Meg uses after every workout, walk, or physical activity is simple yet powerful. It is "Thank you, Body!". I recommend we all take this on and thank our bodies for all they have done on our behalf every darn day. Final Thoughts Learning to love yourself inside and out is the message Meg Boggs shared with us. It is through this acceptance that self-empowerment comes. It doesn't matter if you are a plus-size woman or small in stature; there is something for every woman in Fitness for Every Body. Pick up a copy of Meg Boggs's book today. The Gap and the Gain with Dr. Benjamin Hardy

Meet Dr. Benjamin Hardy Dr. Benjamin Hardy is an organizational psychologist and bestselling author of Willpower Doesn't Work and Personality Isn't Permanent. His new book, The Gap and the Gain, comes out in October with Hay House. His blogs have been read by over 100 million people and are featured on Forbes, Fortune, CNBC, Cheddar, Big Think, and many others. He is a regular contributor to Inc. and Psychology Today and from 2015-2018, he was the #1 writer in the world on Medium.com. He and his wife Lauren adopted three children through the foster system in February 2018 and, one month later, Lauren became pregnant with twins, who were born in December of 2018. Ok, ready to dive into the Gap and the Gain? Let's do this, my friend! What is the Gap? Dr. Benjamin Hardy explains that the gap is all about how you measure yourself and specifically measuring yourself against an ideal or something you wish were different. This kind of measuring always leads to unhappiness and, in psychology terms, is known as the hedonic treadmill. The gap is always about operating from a place of need, lack, or needing something else than what is in the moment. By default, when you're in the gap, you are out of the present moment. What is the Gain? With the gain, you no longer measure yourself against anything else. You measure yourself from your past by looking at the progress. You make yourself the measuring stick, not someone or something else. This is quite profound and powerful. Intrinsic motivation comes from this kind of frame. The gain is twofold: You can see your past from a positive lens and recognize the difference between your former and current self. You learn to see everything (you read that right) as a gain. We can train ourselves to see the gains through selective attention, and what you train yourself to see is what you'll want to start measuring. What you measure grows. The gap and the gain are a frame or perspective. You always have an opportunity to take ownership over your life, experiences, and how you view them. This will help you to become better, not bitter, as Dr. Benjamin Hardy said. How to stay in the Gain Here are some great ways to train your brain to stay in the gain: Pull out your journal and list 3 gains at the end of the day. You can also chart 3 wins you're expecting to get the next day. Find wins and gains in all things. Look out for the gains, even when you're in the gap. Write out all the ways you've grown, learned, and progressed over the past year. Do this as often as possible. Get ready to be wowed by and with yourself! Rather than measuring yourself against others, be inspired by them. I've personally found this to be very helpful when dealing with any kind of comparison or 'gap' issues. How to be Happy Happiness is truly about being in the here and now; otherwise, it's contingent on something else. Happiness is dependent on what and how you measure yourself! As Dr. Benjamin Hardy said, happiness is a one-player game where you're not worried about what others think. Final Thoughts As part of The Gap and Gains, we learn to start measuring ourselves against our own achievements. Where we are today versus where we've been. No one and nothing else matters when it comes to defining yourself. This retraining of your mind and habits can be practiced in the exercise above. For more invaluable tips, order a copy of Dr. Benjamin Hardy's book today. Sacred Connection As always, this community is a sacred, safe place built on love and acceptance. To learn more about Julie and how she might support you on your You-est You journey, go to juliereisler.com. Welcome to one of the kindest, most big-hearted, and loving communities around! I am so excited you're here with me. I have loved recording these solo episodes and am hoping they add value, meaning, and impact in your life, and remind you that you are definitely not alone in overcoming inner struggles and challenges on the journey of being your You-est You. If you're listening to this episode, my hunch is that you might have also struggled with self-bullying and being crappy to yourself. I share very openly and honestly my own challenges with healing past hurts and upsetting experiences that led me down a dark tunnel of attacking and bullying myself. I know that what happens on the inside, in our inner world, is always reflected in our outer world. If we want less upset and drama, we must do the inner work of healing and connecting with the parts of us that are still hurt. I share my own feel to heal process and that of the Inner Bonding workbook so that you can start feeling more grounded, healed, and aligned within yourself. I hope it resonates at the deepest level. Why We Bully Ourselves So often, we have buried trauma. Whether that is trauma with a big or little T, it doesn't matter. The trauma that happened in our childhood where we didn't properly heal because we didn't possess the emotional intelligence to cope with the situation is carried into our adulthood. It's not our fault. We just weren't taught how to deal with our emotions in a healthy way. Those same children grow up to be adults who don't understand how to digest our emotions properly. Instead of dealing with them, we stuff them or abandon ourselves, disconnecting from what needs healing. What we have learned is that this leads to physical illness and addiction. Instead of processing our feelings, we make ourselves sick or create unhealthy relationships with things like food, spending, or alcohol. And when we can't process our emotions but feel threatened, upset, or overwhelmed, we attack ourselves—faulting ourselves for not being more capable, not good enough. Stop Beating Yourself Up In this episode, I talk about how to go within and have a ritual for tuning into the hurt and pain and sitting with it so you can learn to stop beating yourself up. When fear sneaks up, making us feel lesser than, it often triggers a response from childhood when we felt not good enough or compared to things that made us feel lesser than. Judging ourselves for falling short was something we trained ourselves to do from a young age. But it is essential to feel it to heal it and doing the necessary inner work. So sitting with these feelings as they come up in the present day and taking a hard look at where you are trying to deny your emotions is essential. You need to tap into that aspect of yourself and honor that part to adapt your mindset. And when that is done, invite your Higher Power in to be with you. To give you strength, comfort and healing. Gratitude I love pulling cards from my You-est You deck and today's card was gratitude. This was perfect as I discussed how feeling gratitude for the lesson of the situation is part of the healing, how feeling gratitude for the experience and learning from the self-bullying so that you can move forward towards forgiveness and being more kind to yourself. Final Thoughts It is so important to stop beating yourself up. No one likes a bully, so it is crucial to do the work to end the self-bullying. If you wouldn't do it to someone else, it isn't right to do it to yourself. I touch more on self-bullying and imposter syndrome in the book I am currently working on, Who Does She Think She Is. I think you are going to love it. If you are interested in the You-est You deck, you can get the printed box of cards or pdf printable version at juliereisler.com/shop. How to Heal Yourself with Rob Wergin

Meet Rob Wergin Rob Wergin has provided healing transformation to over 200,000 people in the last 18 years and has led large and small groups throughout the U.S. and Europe, including Agape International Spiritual Center, The Omega Institute, Mile High Church in Denver, and the 2019 Healing Kongress in Stuttgart. Rob is featured in the full-length film HEAL along with Deepak Chopra, Michael Beckwith, Bruce Lipton, Gregg Braden, and many others. At a young age, Rob realized he was able to heal animals and communicate with spirits. Not yet understanding these gifts, he learned to ignore them. Following 30 years in corporate America, Rob received what he now calls the "Ultimate Cosmic 2 x 4." In this time of despair, Rob asked for the purpose of his life, and the answer transformed him. Since then, Rob has dedicated his life to being a vessel for Divine love and light to benefit others. Raised in a strictly Christian home in the heart of South Dakota's rich Native American culture, Rob draws from both of these traditions and works with people of all spiritual persuasions on how to heal yourself. "Diseases, discomforts, and dysfunctions of the body are actually gifts," says Rob, "gifts created by our soul and by the Divine. They are powerful gifts packaged in ways we cannot ignore…and because we cannot ignore them, we are given the opportunity to do something about them." Trust Your Body Rob Wergin shared a very emotionally intense story about disengaging from his inner wisdom and intuitive gifts. He stopped paying attention or trusting his body, which led him into addiction, failed marriages, and deep depression. At 54, Rob decided to end the pain and despair and overdosed on drugs. He was at the beach when he had his life-changing encounter with the Divine. He was asked if he wanted to heal and help others heal. He said yes, and after sobbing and releasing years of grief, he turned around to see hundreds of light beings and angelic forms around him. He realized he wasn't alone and that the wisdom and intuition in his (and your) body is divinely connected that all you have to do is trust your body and tune into Divine Love. We can all tap back into it, and you can do that any time you choose to live with greater joy, connection, and love. This is an incredible gift to cherish every morning. Personally, I've been doing a personal practice where I welcome my 500 million new cells with love and joy (I picture them all in a light pink and gold color energy) and ask them to uplift and play with all of my other beloved cells, with love. It's been a game-changer for my morning wake-up routine. Unconditional Love Heals All What Rob Wergin has found over the past two decades of doing healings for thousands of people with various illnesses is that the true healing force is Divine Love and tapping into the energy of bliss. He reminded us that every morning our bodies welcome brand new 500 million healthy cells (you read that right) that can add full healing to the cells that are already in your body. What I love about Rob's view from being part of so many healings is the incredible message of hope that we have the ability, much more than we realize, to direct our cells to be vibrant, healthy and heal. You just need to welcome in Divine Love and trust your body. The Real Lesson One of my favorite aspects of our conversation was about the word 'Lesson'. He shared that his Divine healing guides shared in a personal connection that we as human beings get the meaning of lesson incorrectly. We do not have to hold on to a lesson for days, months, or years. Rather than seeing it as a heavy learning experience, take the words and look at the root: less on. You can decide that you came to this life to have a certain experience or illness, get your lesson and let it go immediately, thus creating less on you. I loved this reframe and encourage you to really dig into this idea of taking less on and moving forward with freedom and ease. Remember, the power of love is always encoded in healing. Final Thoughts Rob Wergin shares with us that unconditional love is at the root of how to heal yourself. Connecting with the Divine Love that each and every one of us has access to can help you learn to trust your body and connect with it on a deeper level than you ever have before. Learning the lesson from illness and pain can help you move into a healthier state of being. To learn more about Rob Wergin, watch him on the documentary Heal. The God Solution with Neale Donald Walsch

Meet Neale Donald Walsch Neale Donald Walsch has written 39 books on contemporary spirituality and its practical application in everyday life, including the 9-book Conversations with God series. His titles have been translated into 37 languages. His latest book is The God Solution, published in Dec. 2020, proposes an altered and totally non-traditional spiritual approach to ending the seemingly interminable struggles of our species. The God Solution invites humanity to embrace a new global ethic based on a refined and clarified definition of God. The book proposes that there is a single statement of spiritual truth upon which all the world's religions could agree, and which would birth a shift of spiritual paradigms around the globe of such magnitude that it would produce peace and happiness on our planet at last. He may be reached at NealeDonaldWalsch.com The book opens with two questions: #1: If God exists, why is the world always in such a mess? #2: Does God play any role in creating—much less fixing—things on Earth? It then offers a hypothesis: Humanity simply hasn't found a way to deliberately and intentionally utilize God, this infinite intelligence, because while 8 out of 10 people believe there is a Higher Power, we haven't been able to come to an agreement about what God is, what God wants, and how God works in our lives. A New Definition of the Higher Power Calling this "the God dilemma," Neale Donald Walsch's book suggests that what is needed is a brand-new, much more accurate definition of the Higher Power. He then offers a striking description of how this fresh view of The Divine could dramatically improve lives, both individually and collectively. We discussed this new definition, which Neale Donald Walsh calls 'Pure Love,' and how he's finally figured out our soul's agenda and how we need to repurpose our divine connection. He defines Pure Love as loving purely, meaning God wants, needs, expects, and commands nothing in return for expressing all of it. This is a profound concept as it suggests that this infinite love is not based on our doing anything other than being aware of itself as pure love. The Soul's Agenda Neale Donald Walsch shares that the only thing that matters is completing the soul's agenda, which is an ineffable essence. The soul is here to make this divine connection, to express, experience, and demonstrate its true and complete agenda for its individuated divinity and greater love. We often have it backwards as the main human instinct is not survival; it's an expression of our divinity. We need to connect with Infinite Intelligence to make ourselves feel whole and complete. It is when this divine connection is missing that we feel lost and disconnected. Final Thoughts Neale Donald Walsch once again shows us that we can flourish as we live the human experience through our divine connection with God. It is a way to find our way back to our soul connection, and tuning into this Infinite Intelligence grounds us moving us toward love and out of fear-based living. You can find more information in Neal Donald Walsch's book The God Solution. Sacred Connection As always, this community is a sacred, safe place built on love and acceptance. The Old Soul's Guidebook with Ainslie MacLeod

Meet Ainslie MacLeod Ainslie MacLeod is an internationally acclaimed past-life psychic, spiritual teacher, and award-winning author of The Instruction, The Transformation, and most recently, The Old Soul's Guidebook. Ainslie specializes in exploring past lives to reveal your life's purpose and has been a featured guest on Oprah's SuperSoul Conversations Series. He lives on a tranquil island in the Pacific Northwest. The Instruction has been one of my favorite books, one I've come back to many times, and has helped me better understand why some people crave a certain kind of rigidity, control, or safety in their life. What I've loved is that it's not about judging anyone or anything, yet rather, as Ainslie explains in his book and this conversation, it's about better knowing your own soul age and your soul's plan for this lifetime. If you're tuning in, we already established that you are most likely a pretty old soul. Anyone listening to this podcast would be, by definition, in the old soul category, as so much of my interviews are about connecting to your higher self and spiritual connection. This is a conversation most old souls are having...with one another and with oneself. Welcome, old soul, to this powerful convo that I hope will expand your thinking and way of being, especially right now. Are You An Old Soul In The Instruction, Ainslie MacLeod reviews the ten soul ages in great detail. In this talk, he explains that the first five soul levels are what he'd consider the 'young soul years', which is really about learning, lessons in building community, exploring, and typically are connected more to fear. After you cross over soul age 5, the soul levels of 6 - 10 are considered old souls and are all about learning how to live in love. By definition of old soul, they are tuned to introspection, spiritual connection, and working on self and creativity. The younger your soul age is, the more fear-based your life will be. The more lives you've lived, the more comfortable you are with soul-based living and experiencing uncertainty. Ainslie explains that we chose our personalities and life plan of who we are and why we're here, on the astral plane, before coming to earth. You might ask, what is the astral plane? He describes it as the nearest non-physical plane and dimension where the soul leaves the body or before it comes into a body. We live now on the physical plane, but we choose our life plan on the astral plane. Our spirit guardians also live in this astral plane. See below to learn more about the spirit world. Connecting to the Spirit World Think of the spirit world as your team of support, in the non-physical world, ready and eager to guide you 24/7. All you have to do is ask and, as Ainslie says, use them to support you on your journey. If you have a question for your spirit guide, it's helpful to verbalize it by writing it out to them. I've been doing this for years, and it is beyond powerful as it has helped me personally access greater wisdom beyond what my mind can come up with. We live lives that are so noisy, so you will need to bring in tranquility and a ritual of stillness to start bringing in the ability to hear and commune with the spirit world. The veil becomes thinner as you experience more lives, as the soul and conscious mind are fused. The Soul of our Country I found this answer to be fascinating and frankly rang true with my own soul and inner knowing. Ainslie MacLeod described our country (the US) as being the 5 soul age and level of consciousness, meaning we're still in a fear-based consciousness but moving to level 6, which is characteristically changing to an older soul experience of life. You could think of Fox News as the quintessential level 5. Typically younger souls are more conservative, and older souls tend to be more progressive. Countries that are considered older soul-based are the Scandanavian countries. They are the definition of old soul, where their focus is mainly on the good of the community and people, focusing on humanitarian service. The more fundamental-based countries would be younger soul-based. Be an Ambassador of Love In simple terms, we are all doing the best we can in our varying soul levels, wanting to experience and learn the fundamental lessons of peace, love, and truth. I use this affirmation every day, and Ainslie confirmed it for me when he said, in simple terms, declare that you are an ambassador of love. That is my hope for you and all of us, to embody this soul-based living, this ambassadorship of love, and peace, with ourselves and our soul brothers and sisters. Final Thoughts As part of The Old Soul's Guidebook, Ainslie MacLeod tells us how tapping into our old soul's experiences will lead to not only a more fulfilling life for ourselves but our country and planet. Soul-based living is, in essence, the definition of old soul. Stepping outside of fear-based living and tuning into the old soul aspect of who you truly are will help move the consciousness of our country and planet forward.
