Alex May Hughes is an artist and sign-painter. Alex's work is typically either beautifully crafted signs, created in a traditional Victorian style, or beautifully crafted signs, created in a Matt Groening, Simpsons style. Through experimenting with various types of sign-painting Alex discovered her love for working with gold leaf and mirrored surfaces and has established a niche in this way of working. John Maeda is the Chief Experience Officer of Publicis Sapient, he is also an artist, designer, and a former president of the Rhode Island School of Design. This weeks Creative Rebel is Hilary Gallo; a former lawyer and negotiator turned speaker, writer and coach. He has also done extensive research on fear. In his book ‘Fear Hack’ Hilary explores our self-imposed fears and how limiting they can be. Hilary runs workshops on fear in which participants write their biggest fears on the wall.
