Dr. Alisha Morgan, a family medicine and hospice physician at the Mayo Clinic joins us to address the challenges associated with being a caregiver, how healthcare providers should assess caregiver burden, potential financial resources available to assist caregivers, and interventions to reduce the impact of stress on caregivers. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, mRNA vaccines work by teaching cells in the body how to make a protein that triggers an immune response.
