I'm an introvert. Can I be successful?

You’ll be most successful when you are true to yourself, not when you’re trying to be something you’re not. Steve Wozniak said “Most inventors and engineers I’ve met are like me. They’re shy and they live in their heads. The very best of them are artists. And artists work best alone…” Let’s talk about how you can be most effective in sharing your art. Episode #873, March 03, 2023  Questions: 1. What else should I do to feel confident I’m attacking the right next job for me? 2. I have often jokingly referred to myself as a Serial Hobby Jumper. I haven't been in love with any one thing long enough or fiercely enough to develop clarity on how to make it work. 3. What are some ways that I can reassure myself that I’m on the right path? 4. I'm an introvert who is able to get out there and meet people, do book signings, etc. - but it exhausts me emotionally and physically. How do I find balance in having to do that? Are you still driving a Pinto?

Ford is no longer making the Pinto, or the Taurus, or the Crown Victoria. The only car they are making this year is the Mustang. They have moved totally to building SUVs and pickup trucks. So what about you? Are you still doing the same thing you were doing 20 years ago? If you’re still doing what you were doing 5 years ago, rather than being praised for your loyalty, you may be becoming obsolete. Episode #872, February 24, 2023 Questions: 1. For the most part, I guess I have been doing work that I love, but after 5-6 years in one place I get a bit bored. Is that normal? 2. Am I writing good enough for others? I have self-published 2 books on Kindle but only a few were sold. 3. I have a hard time deciphering what type of business I want to start. I get caught up in shiny object syndrome. 4. My challenge is having a wife who is almost a complete opposite(anti-entrepreneur) of me(entrepreneur). 5. I am currently in a very unfulfilling position processing (approving/denying) transactions all day. I make the money I need to survive, but feel that I am just going thru the motions, because it is boring. It’s not my fault I was born into a poor family...

How many times have you heard someone explain why they haven’t been able to get a job, go to college, make money to get them beyond their basic needs, start a business, or buy the car of their dreams. And it typically then includes blaming, criticizing, pointing fingers, and explaining why it’s not their fault. I’m going to tell you about a little boy who defied the odds against him. Episode #869, February 10, 2023 Questions: 1. Are we going to see a shift toward the "Uberization" of the U.S. workforce? 2. My wife and I are former teen parents who want to start a podcast around our journey and what we have learned along the way. 3. I don’t see opportunities in my area of interest but I’d love to dig in. 4. I have a dream, an impossible dream! A dream so foolish that I’d be an idiot to try it—and so glorious that I’d be stupid not to go for it!
