Stop Climbing that Ladder

100 hours of paid coaching in first 90 days I’ve been offered $10,000 per week to expand what I’m doing now. What can athletes and politicians do after they stop playing and arguing? Should I interview with a company if I don’t want to work there? https://www.48days.com/stop-climbing-that-ladder/

You gotta pull the trigger

Help – I’m losing my passion for what I thought I loved. When should I discuss salary in my job negotiation? How can I find books on grief to resell on my website? I cant seem to get myself to take the next big step. I have had no problems getting interviews for jobs and the interviews seem to go great but then suddenly everything comes to a crashing halt and I don’t get the job. https://www.48days.com/you-gotta-pull-the-trigger/

Need an education – try this?

Why doesn’t my company give $100,000 Christmas bonus? Is a college degree still necessary? I doubled my income last year.  Should I set my goal lower this year? My back hurts, my mind is numb and I’m completely discouraged in life. I don’t have motivation to work anymore. https://www.48days.com/need-an-education-try-this/

Who’s writing the story of your life?

I love being in college but hate going to class.  Should I continue? I have a new Christmas piano CD that has been getting great reviews but I’ve only sold a few.  What do I need to do? How regulated is homeschooling in Tennessee? I’m currently 30 years old and have recently started a small business in Construction. I take my work seriously and always go the extra mile, but I know there’s more out there for me. I am a 19 year old young man with a passion for farming. I don’t have much money to get started but the thought of working for several years doing something I don’t like makes me cringe. https://www.48days.com/whos-writing-the-story-of-your-life/

Are you just quitting or growing?

I am beginning to question how beneficial setting goals so really is. How can children in poverty start a business? Could there be an opportunity servicing coffee machines? I need a raise but the non-profit I work for is facing budget cuts. How can a guy sculpt and paint full time and be able to quit his job working at a wastewater plant? Should I volunteer to work for nothing to get in the door or would that appear needy? https://www.48days.com/are-you-just-quitting-or-growing/

What keeps people motivated in jobs that stink?

Is tipping demeaning or a reasonable reward? How often do you put your full goals list in front of you and focus on it? I’d love to make a living creating and performing music, but I’m not seeing many ways to do that. When working in a field that is somewhat repetitive, what keeps people motivated? What are the main reasons people find themselves in careers/jobs that they are unhappy doing? https://www.48days.com/what-keeps-people-motivated-in-jobs-that-stink/

Raising Creative and Entrepreneurial Kids

Is “education” killing our creativity? “Fun time” is when songs are written, novels are penned, paintings are created, recipes are developed, forts are built, musical instruments come to life, and businesses are started. My brother had a passion for firestarting and campfires and lighters when he was younger….and now he wants to pursue glass-blowing! My 5th grade son ran his restaurant from his little tent in the backyard. Selena Schulz age 9, wrote and self-published a book last summer titled “A Bed A Buck A Buddy; Cici’s Amazing Birthday”. My son is making around fifty dollars per week for about an hours work with his snack business. Austin wrote a check on his 16th birthday for a white four door 2013 GMC Sierra 1500 with money earned from his Sporty Citrus business. Nathan started with Legos – now he’s a Civil Engineer. https://www.48days.com/raising-creative-and-entrepreneurial-kids/
