Today's guest has a special place in my heart. The idea for this show, a live interactive podcast to learn about industry titans, started ambitious. I thought it may last a few weeks and die from a lack of momentum, but there were a few listeners that I had never met before that came into the audience EVERY single show. They really helped keep me motivated to keep pursuing and building The Crazy About Crypto Show. They are the reason this show still is around today, and the reason why COMMUNITY is so important to me. You will continue to see that as the show grows. This is bigger than Crazy Carl, this is about building up this community and learning together. One way to do that is making sure to have Community Spotlights where we can learn from those actively building up the show. I couldn't be happier that today's guest agreed to kick off this special segment. Bharat has quickly become one of the most iconic collectors in the NFT space. There isn't a big NFT art drop that he's not involved in the bidding for. The list of notable works in his collection could be a show in itself, but most recently just this week he won a bidding war for Trevor Jone's 1/1 piece Ethereal. His winning bid, 150ETH, or over 400,000 USD. These massive pickups have become normal, and he truly is changing the NFT space with his presence by supporting a wide range of artists every day.

Today we are bringing back the FIRST ever guest of the Crazy About Crypto Show, in what I now refer to as "The Lost Episodes" because the audio of the first 3 shows were so bad while I was still figuring out the tricks of the trade of the podcast world. But we are going to be bringing back each of the guests from those lost shows over the next couple months and there couldn't have been a better time to bring back this young, 15 yr old NFT artist who stormed the NFT world in March when his first 4 pieces sold for 20ETH each. Since then, he's been quietly building the next chapter of his journey, which starts this week with a HUGE feature 1/1 auction in SuperRare that captures his first year of creating art, and continues next week with a HUGE Don'tBuyMeme drop, Jasti!

CipCity caught my attention when he started sharing on Twitter his journey to flip NFT avatars up to the holy grail of a CryptoPunk. He started with 2ETH in April and documented his journey all the way up to buying a 31 ethereum punk in July. And since flipped that bunk for over 60 ETH and was able to purchase another with the profit. For the hundreds that try, there's always some success stories, and the journey of today's guest is truly epic.

DeezeFi is the undisputed crypto/NFT King of Twitter Spaces. I am so grateful that he took a small break from his shows to come share his crypto journey story with us, because I know right before this he had a show and likely right after he'll have a show as well. In 2017 he entered the crypto space, and has been spotting trends in the space ever since. As an ealry defi investor he parlayed his success into NFTs, and now his cryptopunk portfolio alone has a current value over 1 million dollars. Fractional art was also smart enough to see this and brought him on as a community/marketing manager.

Kenshiro is an OG crpyot investor! I always love crypto investors that have grown personally in their journey and now today take time to give back to others in the space, and today's guest is the embodiment of just that. From investing in cryptocurrency in 2017 to building a base of over 10,000 followers on Twitter in less than a year, he continues to support NFT artists by spotlighting their work on his feed. A true pioneer that helps the NFT community grow everyday!

Bryan Brinkman has been working with people in the spotlight, and now is taking the spotlight in his own right. From starting his career working at the likes of Saturday Night Live and The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to now going full time into paving his own path in the NFT space, this artist is quickly becoming known as a trailblazer in the space. He has been featured in NFT drops on Artblocks, SuperRare, Nifty Gateway, and Async Music while simultaneously finding new ways to connect with his fans through things like custom wearables in the metaverse.

Bittm started his journey in crypto in 2017 and saw the bitcoin price run up from 1k to 20k just to fall during crypto winter in 2018 from 20k all the way back down to 3k, but while some felt burned by their losses and turned their back towards the crypto space, he continued down the rabbit hole and spent every day researching and studying projects and now spends his time helping his followers on their own journeys in the space.
