This week P Nate and Pootie discuss a number of relevant cultural issues including Canadian censorship, P Diddy's unheard of scandal and why there is media blackout on it as well as answering a listener question about whether or not Christians should watch "The Chosen".

As P Nate and Pootie prepare for their trip south they take the time to quickly record a new episode talking through the headlines of the day. The Rebel podcast is meant to help equip you to engage culture with a biblical worldview, so thinking Christianly about what’s going on is a necessary first step.

After the popularity of our Biblical Cosmology series in the fall last year, Pootie finally plays catch up listening to the Haunted Cosmos and the Rebels nerd out on the unhinged. There is an immense value in Christians understanding what the Bible has to say about the unseen realm, but pastorally P Nate wanted to issue a warning that this is an important secondary issue in scripture that can sometimes become dangerous if we make a secondary storyline THE storyline.

After P Nate and Joe Boot talked at length last week about the Alistair Begg controversy, the Rebels take some time to reflect on the animosity towards what has recently been called "The Moscow Mood" by Kevin De Young. 2 Samuel 15 tells us about a subtle rebellion: "And whenever a man came near to pay homage to him, he would put out his hand and take hold of him and kiss him. Thus Absalom did to all of Israel who came to the king for judgment. So Absalom stole the hearts of the men of Israel." We live in an age when men have been told their masculinity is toxic and not welcomed in this new progressive world. The choice is either abandon your God given masculinity or follow the Absaloms of our day. How can the church win the hearts of the men back?
