Arsecast Extra Episode 470 - 09.05.2022
In this episode we discuss the 2-1 win over Leeds on Sunday. A game that started brilliantly with two early goals and in which we played 10 men for over an hour became quite nerve-wracking after their out of the blue goal in the second period. We chat about the fear, why it was so intense when in reality Arsenal were in control for the most part, losing composure and how it manifested itself, James' coping mechanism, as well as how important the three points were, and a bit focus on some excellent individual performances. There are inevitable questions about the derby on Thursday which feels very much like a cup final given everything that's at stake, including how we might set up and what tweaks we might make to our defensive line-up. Plus Mohamed Elneny's contract, some chat about Mikel Arteta's new deal and lots more before we have to give up after talking ourselves into a state of turmoil.Get extra bonus content and help support Arseblog by becoming an Arseblog Member on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/arseblog Hosted on Acast.
