Case Kenny (Ep. 29) – Founder, Prsuit.com | Host, New Mindset Who Dis Podcast
Had a phenomenal conversation with Case Kenny on Episode 29 of the Just Get Started Podcast. We get into an interesting conversation around his life and journey into growing his media company and we discuss the background of his Prsuit.com company and how using the thought around “perspective” is ideal for growing yourself and becoming fulfilled in life. His consistency in putting out great content has helped him grow his audience to hundreds of thousands of readers and become a regular top 50 iTunes Podcast in just a few short months of starting it.One of the things I enjoy about Case is how raw he is when speaking. He believes what he says and isn't afraid to share his opinions of the world and offer advice where he feels it could help others. Putting yourself out there and being vulnerable can be difficult but once you build your confidence and understand that your voice can help motivate and inspire others it's cool to see what can happen. Bryan Wish (Ep.28) – Growth Consultant and Marketing Strategist
Episode 28 features Bryan Wish, Growth Consultant for global-impact visionaries and the marketing strategist behind Allen Gannett’s book “The Creative Curve”. I met Bryan serendipitously last year when setting up Allen Gannett on the Just Get Started Podcast. Unfortunately, as I tell the story, the audio didn’t record properly and the interview with Allen never launched. However, I stayed in contact with Bryan and was appreciative for him to share his story on this latest episode. We went into some depth around his childhood and how early challenges helped ultimately pave the way for carving out some great opportunities with some sports franchises and now some of his business endeavors. A lot of energy and passion out of Bryan and really enjoyed his insight on business, networking, and creating your own opportunities.About Bryan: For years, I have used my abilities to both discover and foster growth opportunities behind professional sports franchises, global investment funds, and CEO visionaries turning their dreams into tangible results. Noticing untapped potential in ticket sales in the collegiate market for the Atlanta Hawks and the Atlanta Braves, I created segmented marketing and sales programs that have done more than $300k in sales to date. My own vision helped curate 800+ impactful stories which have been read by more than 500,000+ readers on The Wish Dish. From 2016-2017, I helped establish a foundational community outreach system for The Kairos Society – a network of young entrepreneurs featured in Inc., Forbes, and Wired Magazine – building a fellowship of more than 500 up-and-coming entrepreneurs in 40 countries and counting. Currently based in Washington D.C., I spend my waking hours meeting, fostering, and influencing entrepreneurs to act on their most empowering visions.Through years of reflection, I’ve developed a high-functioning growth mindset to continuously progress, despite obstacles of every kind. Time after time, I’ve transitioned one “no” into the next “how can I get there?” I can see a story, visualize its potential, and then get up and go make it happen.Find Bryan Online:Website: http://bryanwish.com/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/bryanwish_/Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/bryanwish/About the Host:It's hard to write these things about yourself but I'm just a very curious guy that wants to learn as much as I can about the world and the people in it. Christina Lecuyer (Ep.24) – Mindset Coach | Motivational Speaker | Golf Hosting Specialist
I met Christina through a recommendation of a prior guest, Tisha Abrea (Ep. 16), and was so fortunate to get a chance to hear her story and learn through some of the lessons she had to go through in her career. I love that she refers to periods of her life as “seasons” and although she is in a busy season I was appreciative she was able to take time out of her day and share her story. We get into some of her struggles on the golf course during LPGA Tour Qualifying School and how she broke out of the mold that everyone else thought she she be in and ultimately flourished by following a different path with her golf hosting, mindset coaching, and motivational speaking.About Christina:Unlike most professional golfers, Christina was a late-comer to the sport. Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Christina did not play any golf before the age of 18. However, this wasn’t due to a lack of exposure to the game. Christina’s father, Tony Lecuyer, has long been one of Alberta’s biggest names in golf. Her two younger brothers, Ryan and Steven, were also two of Canada’s best amateurs winning the 2003 Canadian Junior Boys’ Championship and 2010 Alberta Amateur Championship, respectively. Christina certainly picked up the game quickly. Christina won the first golf tournament she ever entered, the 2002 Edmonton Ladies Amateur Championship, and attracted the attention of numerous college recruiters finally landing on the University of Central Arkansas in 2003. Christina had an outstanding collegiate career, both on the golf course and in the classroom. She won five collegiate tournaments, had 24 Top Ten finishes, and was a 2-time All-American honorable mention. Christina was an even better performer in the classroom, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2007 in Business Administration. After wrapping up her collegiate career in 2007, Christina focused her attention on the professional circuit. She played various mini-tours from 2007-2010 qualifying for LPGA final stage three consecutive years. She was featured on the Golf Channel’s Big Break Series twice, coming out on the winning end on Big Break Reunion: Dominican Republic. She has also been sought after for many on-camera opportunities and most recently co-hosted Swing Clinic on Fox Sports Regional Networks. Now Christina’s focus is her love of entertaining clients at corporate and charity golf events, mentoring others, and publicly speaking. She’s sought out by world-renowned corporations and has raised millions of dollars for charity. Christina’s expertise, generosity, personality, and knowledge have put her on the map as one of the only female golfers in the world working in this capacity full-time.Find Christina Online:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/bechristina/Website: https://christinalecuyer.com/CommandingYourWorth.com Special Offer Code: justbe2018Books and Podcast Recommendations:Chris Harder – For the Love of Money Podcast Jen Sincero –You are a badass at making moneyMark Groves @CreatetheLoveJoshua Medcalf – Chop Wood, Carry WaterAbout the Host:It's hard to write these things about yourself but I'm just a very curious guy that wants to learn as much as I can about the world and the people in it.
