Remnant's Thoughts On The Asbury Revival!Remnant is LIVE today at 1:45 PM CST from the Asbury Revival! Campus revival is taking place at Asbury University. Hughes Auditorium has been hosting a chapel service since Wednesday, February 8th. Since then, public confessions and repentance have rotated with worship (of all kinds), proclamation (preaching and testimonies), prayer, and public scripture readings. It is mainly empty on stage, with a few worship teams to the side. People come to kneel at the altar railing as the Holy Spirit prompts them without hyped-up altar calls. There are reports of healings and prophetic utterances. Hughes Auditorium has reached capacity multiple times over the past week, and Estes Chapel across the street at Asbury Theological Seminary has been opened for overflow. By His Stripes We Are Healed...But Not Physically? Responding to Allan Parr's Teaching on Isaiah 53:5Remnant considers Allan Parr one of the best examples of a Christian YouTuber out there. The guy cranks out weekly biblically sound teachings and content. He carefully and kindly identifies false teachings, while simultaneously displaying the historic Christian faith seen in the scriptures. Suffice to say, he is an inspiration to all of us here at Remnant Radio. As always, all of us in the faith find areas of disagreement in non-essential doctrines and we want to lovingly challenge one another presenting the best arguments with kindness and generosity. While rare, we have found one contention with Alan Parr's interpretation of Isaiah 53. On Apr 5, 2019, Allan published a video Titled "Does God Promise Us Divine Healing?"  In this video, Allan explains that the frequently quoted Isaiah 53:5 text is not about physical healing. This video pulled in over 119,000 views, and like all of Allan's content, it was done with professionalism, Christian charity, and careful exegesis.
