Strive Asset management which is a company founded by Vivek Ramaswamy issued a proposal for a Bitcoin Bond ETF that directly and through derivatives holds MicroStrategy Convertible bonds and the convertibles of other companies that use the funds from their converts to buy bitcoin directly. This is big news in my opinion in the long run as it opens up exposure for retail for these financial instruments and helps fund them. Yesterday MicroStrategy issued a Special letter which called for an increase in authorized common and preferred shares. Common by 10 billion, and preferred by 1 billion. In this video I go over why they needed to do this and what it means for share holders. One thing I forgot to mention, is this authorization still needs to be voted on by shareholders, although that is likely to be approved as Saylor has something like 46% of the voting shares.
