That Projector Life

In this episode of That Projector Life, we're doing a deeper dive into the gates and how to understand them. I'll walk you through the process I use when looking at gates in a Human Design chart so you can begin to understand the deeper impact that your gates can have.  We'll look at the layers present in each gate and move through the most noticeable ones - the gate itself, the planet(s) in the gate, and the line number. As we move through each layer, we'll talk about how the one below it impacts the big picture and how the energy of the gate plays out. After listening to this episode, take some time to move through each of your gates and both explore and contemplate how that gate shows up in your life given the layers we've explored here. In this episode, I'm joined by Luisa Molano, a certified executive coach and spiritual guide to heart-centered business owners. Our discussion is wide-ranging and centers on all things Projector, both life and business. Luisa has such a unique approach to her emotional authority and working with and honoring her energy, and she shares her process of grounding with us. She also walks us through her coming to Human Design and her experience with the system as a whole plus how she uses the system in her own business with clients. Luisa also shares a ground-breaking way of looking at social media - one that I thoroughly enjoyed and have since played with myself. And our conversation about social media naturally led into creating as a Projector, as that's something Luisa is passionate about. So we hear how she creates as an aligned Projector with an undefined Throat. I've had some rather interesting business realizations over the past few weeks, and I wanted to put them all together so I could share them with you. I know we're all searching for "The Solution" to being a Projector in business. And while I haven't found it, I have discovered several things that have changed my business journey - and my life.  We're starting our episode by talking about money and income goals because, though hustle culture has mostly gone the way of the dinosaurs, it continues to cast a long shadow over the online business space. We'll also look at the role of business in my life and where it fits - because that's been another big realization I've had.  I'm also highlighting and exploring my new approach to both business and life in that I'm no longer pushing for things. So I'll talk about that and how it's played out in my business and what it looks like so far. Finally, we'll touch on some business rules you can break.  In recording this episode, I've realized that there's so much conditioning we have around business - and that adds to the conditioning we already receive from being a Projector. Invitations are a central part of being a Projector, and understanding them (and how to work with them) can be difficult. In this episode, we're once again looking at invitations, waiting, and understanding the energetic exchange that happens.  I'll talk about some things I haven't yet when it comes to invitations - like how waiting can suck and be really uncomfortable. We'll also explore the idea of what I'm now calling "knee-jerk invitations" - invitations that happen without real recognition because Projectors understand how difficult it can be to wait for an invitation. So we decide to simply offer that person the invitation they want. (I've done it, too.) Finally, we'll talk about how difficult this whole Projector thing can be. Because it's not always unicorns and butterflies - though if that's been your experience so far, that's wonderful! This episode ended up being quite heavy, and I didn't intend for that, but I supposed sometimes you have to strap on your scuba tanks and go deep. And that's what we're doing here.  We're exploring some uncomfortable ideas and taking a hard look at ourselves and how we work with invitations in an honest, aligned way. Ready to reflect? This episode of That Projector Life focuses on navigating social media as a Projector. We're going to blend both business strategy and Human Design energy to help you create a plan that works for you. (Even if that plan is having no plan at all! What? Scandalous!) As you can see, we're focusing on keeping social media fun and allowing your energy to shine, because when you're really in your element, that's when you're most magnetic. So while I will offer business strategy tips like use good SEO, I'll also highlight (several times) that following your energy and listening to your authority is so important when it comes to social media. Also, don't ever forget that social media companies want to make money. They prioritize that over pretty much everything else. So if you don't see the success you want just yet - and you're doing everything correctly - it's not you. It's the social media companies and their quest for more profit.
