We mop up our discussion of The Shadow Rising, book 4 of the Wheel of Time. Craig, Ryan, Kyle, and Kenn dive into the Perrin chapters, where he and Faile have moved from "utterly rage inducing" to just "pretty annoying most of the time." The final Word of the Day is revealed.

Spoilers for all of The Shadow Rising. It's a frantic rush to cover as much as we can as we work our way through a discussion of this mammoth, 386K-word novel. This discussion turns out to be almost exlusively about the adventures of the crew in the Aiel Waste. Special attention is paid, per Reddit request, to the vision in Rhuidean. Craig and Todd discuss the 1938 novelette, Who Goes There? by J.W. Campbell. This is the story that John Carpenter's movie The Thing was based on.
