Kim McIntyre - Woodworker, Dog Lover

This week I am joined by Kim McIntyre of McIntyre furniture! In school for outdoor education, a required course "Reverence for Wood" kindled an interest in woodworking. After spending time as a wilderness expedition guide, she took the interest in woodworking back to school, and started her furniture business. We discuss her approach to problem-solving in the shop, teaching, and a bit about the Restoration Station at the Catskill Mountain Maker Camp. Kim is currently working on a custom Myrtle Burl dashboard for a vintage Austin Healy and you can follow along with that project on Instagram.
