Getting negative feedback and reviews is never fun and responding to them can be really difficult for any business owner. Netflix co-founder and former CEO, Marc Randolph, joined me in this week's episode of Foot Traffic. Our conversation was beyond inspiring and Marc shared so much about what it means and what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur. How would you like to build your very first sales funnel, featuring a BRAND NEW product, and generate $120k in just under 3 weeks? And if that's not impressive enough on it's own, how about it only costing you $0.43 per lead? Is your mind blown yet? Today I talk with my client Daniela - a true Powerhouse! Daniela is a Spa Marketing and Retail Sales Strategist for Estheticians who helps brick and mortar spas build, grow and scale their companies. Listen as Daniela maps out how she went from not even even knowing what a funnel was, to earning back her five-figure investment in our program back within 22 days. Daniela shares some of the takeaways from her experience: Plan for at least 20% more time than you think you are going to need when preparing for a launch. Keep working until you find the right messaging to attract the right people. Expect this to take time, and don’t give up simply because one strategy didn’t work for you. The best laid plans will still go awry. Accept it, move forward and do better next time. Be sure systems and processes are in place when it comes to closing out your launch to establish and retain credibility. Take ownership of the things that do go wrong and apologize with sincerity. She also defines what she thinks it means to be a Powerhouse: Don't allow space for a victim mentality. Be an action taker (not just a researcher). Refuse to be be defined by mistakes.
