In this episode of the Journeywomen podcast, Sarah Pape, a writer and photographer from Dallas, TX, talks about sharing the Gospel in the context of real life. We discuss cultivating the discipline of evangelism, preaching the Gospel first to ourselves, praying for opportunities to share our faith, and strategies for navigating what can sometimes be viewed as an awkward conversation. Sarah said that just as much as you preach the Gospel to non-believers, we need to preach it to ourselves, first of all, and to our spouses and to friends. When the Gospel becomes part of our daily thinking and conversations, it’s natural for it to spill over into our conversations with others. Welcome to the very first episode! On this episode, Hunter Beless will introduce herself as the host of the podcast while explaining a little more of her heart behind the show. The Journeywomen Podcast exists to equip and encourage Christian women to gracefully navigate the seasons and challenges they face on their journeys to glorify God. A journeywoman is asking things like, “How can I glorify God through opening my home? How can I glorify God by memorizing scripture? How can I glorify God using my gifts, like teaching, writing, or serving? How can I glorify God in my season of waiting, singleness, transition, depression, etc?” In each episode, Hunter will introduce you to Christian leaders who have pointed her to Jesus on her own spiritual journey.
