Christmas Functions
This Christmas season, we are practising what we preach and making this season a bit slower for us by revisiting last years episodes as we had such a great response to them last year. The great thing about re-listening to podcasts is that you'll take away different tips and you'll learn things you don't even remember hearing last time. So as you prepare for the Christmas season this year, we hope it is one of peace, love, feeling organised and being inspired to declutter.Do you love hosting Christmas functions and being generous with your time, money and home? Or do you feel overwhelmed at the idea of inviting others to your home to celebrate? Here is another episode where you can laugh at and with Amy and Kirsty, where they share their tips and tricks for decluttering your Christmas functions and give great ideas on how to host, cater, serve and clean up all things Christmasy. Bedside Tables
This week we chat about our Bedside Tables! Do you even have a bedside table? Does your bedside table have drawers or is it open shelves? What lives on the top of your bedside table and what lives in the drawers? What random things have found their way into your bedside table? We laugh a lot about having water on our bedside table and the need to go to the toilet in the middle of the night! We also have a few 80's references for you to reminisce with us over. We chat about kids bedside drawers and hint at the stuff we might keep in our bedside drawer that would be embarrassing if your kids pulled out in front of friends. Makeup
This week we chat about makeup! We confess that neither of us are huge makeup wearers, consumers, keepers or storers. We have however decluttered many a bathroom and we can attest to how long some people keep their makeup for and how a bargain can suck you in! We chat about how Amelie was not allowed my 'used' makeup to play with (until I decluttered just recently!) and how Amy's father was also had the same rule in their house growing up. We realise that neither of our Mums are big makeup wearers which clearly had an effect on us! As usual we give you tips and tricks on how to decide what needs to get binned, what can be donated and what you should keep. We also give you some tips on how to store your makeup. As always we hope you have a giggle with us and enjoy the conversation! Thanks to Narinder K Pannu for the requesting this weeks topic.Products mentioned in this episode:Kmart storage solution: https://www.kmart.com.au/product/cosmetic-organiser---medium/133809Ikea storage solution: https://www.ikea.com/au/en/catalog/products/90400268/https://www.vanitycollections.com.auGreat ideas for makeup storage (you can get them here or search for them for cheaper options.)www.zuca.com.au - great makeup storage bagsJoin our community ● Become a Patron with Patreon – your monthly donation makes a huge difference to us being able to producethis podcast.
