This whole season is packed with amazing people who aren’t just names, but actual friends or people I look up to. Okay y’all, this could be risky to start the show with the topic we are going to discuss, but I’m a risky kinda girl. Here’s the thing: I can’t have a show about wanting to be real and honest and not talk about one of my hardest struggles. And who better than to shoot it straight than Christine Caine?! If you don’t know Christine, she’s a petite Greek Aussie with blonde hair and a biblical bite. She may be small, but she is mighty. In addition to freeing slaves as the founder of A21, empowering women as the founder of Propel Women, and preaching the gospel around the world, she was also my boss. I worked at A21—a global anti-trafficking organization—for almost 7 years. The work was gloriously exhausting and devastatingly beautiful. But one conversation sticks out to me as one of the most profound of my life. THAT is what I’m going to talk about in this episode! Christine is a best-selling author, profound communicator and loyal mom and wife, but her greatest strength is she has died a thousands deaths and has allowed the Spirit of God to lead to the most interesting parts of the world.
