NASA officials met this week to talk about the program's upcoming UAP study, and Daniel Evans, the agency's assistant deputy associate administrator, said NASA is "going full force." Evans said: "This is really important to us, and we're placing a high priority on it." Also, Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield has some disparaging words recently for people who believe UFOs could be extraterrestrial in origin. He basically called such people idiots. "To see something in the sky that you don't understand and then to immediately conclude that it's intelligent life from another solar system is the height of foolishness and lack of logic," Hadfield said during a recent interview. During a recent interview, Jaron Lanier, one of the so-called world's great thinkers, seemed utterly and totally oblivious to the gigantic pile of evidence that lends credence to the fact there's an extraterrestrial presence on Earth. If our greatest thinkers are so completely blind to the evidence at this point, the world is in deep trouble. Also, Earth is an island in a sea of space. Is it merely a docking port for traveling alien civilizations, or are these visitors planning to make their stay a permanent one? A reporter for Scientific American stated in an article this week that the NASA planned $100,000 study into UFOs is not interested in solving the mystery behind apparent extraterrestrial spacecraft. Instead, the writer suggests, NASA is merely interested in finding answers behind natural atmospheric phenomena. Also, documentary filmmaker James Fox said recently actual photographic and video evidence of extraterrestrial beings exists in Brazil, and he's trying to obtain it with a large cash offering. Fox said the evidence is in relation to aliens that witnesses say they saw in 1996 Varginha, Brazil. A UFO allegedly crashed there, but military officials covered up the incident by removing the downed alien vessel and taking extraterrestrial beings into custody. The event is a subject of Fox's upcoming documentary film, MOMENT OF CONTACT. A picture of a diamond-shaped UFO taken over the Scottish Highlands in 1990 by two young men has finally been released to the public. Britain's Ministry of Defense and National Archives intended to keep the photo away from the public for another 54 years, but UFO researcher David Clarke was able to obtain a photograph of the object from a former Royal Air Force officer. Also, the most logical explanation for many UFO reports, cattle mutilations, and alien abduction stories is the presence of extraterrestrials on Earth. U.S. Congressman Tim Burchett said recently that a crash between apparent extraterrestrial spacecraft and a plane is inevitable. He believes the Pentagon isn't doing enough to avert an imminent air disaster, and that it needs to remove the veil of secrecy that's covered up the UAP phenomenon for decades. Burchett wants the Pentagon to present that information to Congress so more people can be brought into the fold to determine ways to avert impending collisions between UFOs and planes. A retired electrical engineer who worked for defense contractors and government agencies including NASA said this week he believes time is running out for the world with regard to the plans our extraterrestrial visitors have in store for the human race. The retiree, who wishes to remain anonymous, says full disclosure is necessary in order to get the entire scientific community on board with the reality and to develop a means to combat the aliens when they initiate the final stage of their colonization effort. In fact, the engineer said he is working on the design of a psychotronic block device that would prevent extraterrestrial from manipulating human minds. Also, he said he's working on a laser weapon that could be used to fight aliens and their craft. In a hypothesis that is sure to top even the preposterous "swamp gas" excuse to explain a flying saucer seen by hundreds in 1966 in Michigan, UFO debunker Mick West is now proposing that alien beings and flying saucers witnessed by 62 school children in Zimbabwe in 1994 could have been puppets. While many believe the extraterrestrial presence on Earth will turn out as a good thing for humankind in the long run, the data suggests otherwise. Research conducted by Temple University professor Dr. David M. Because there's still a lot of mystery behind the UFO and alien phenomenon, there's a debate as to whether Earth's enigmatic visitors are actually. extraterrestrial.
